Not me. I'm in a 357bhp FF.
I think i might join you. Should be more fun than the stage 5 monsters. My new steed of choice is a Japanese FF with a PWR of 3.378 (391hp, 1321kg).

BTW: Cyril, were did you find that one? The oldest I get in the archive is GT4 WRS week 16:indiff:
Well, I can see 19 pages in the archives forum, showing all 462 threads in it.
Perhaps your preferences in the control panel only are set to show only posts more recent than one year ?

You should, I think it's more fun to run a car of your choice (offcourse a 6 cyl.) with the mods of your choice.

I just can't get enough of the sound which is coming out of the Supra

Found a car and might just run it for the hell of it.The NSX Damn fun to drift. Will post my spilts when Im not lazy.

Ran a 20-lap stint in a Clio, my fun car:
'24.227
'47.345
This car only hits 165 mph on the straight, but the average speed is around 90. This car sticks like glue to the track on those R5s.

But, I realized if I wanted a chance at a win, I needed to sell out. I'm an Evo fan, so it pained me to use the Skyline GT-R M.N.P. II. I custom tuned it, and surprisingly it worked better than the two set-ups I found.
New splits:
'22.581
'43.848

If noone believes my times, all I can do is give you the progression of my best times, starting from my first good lap. I have four different sessions, each progressively getting faster. Case in point, if you don't believe me, PM me.

Sound Legit to me :) I just relized the black cars will be coming up in about 1 game week so I am scrambling to get 9mil to buy them.

I'm going to have to try really hard not to hit a wall in this one, at lest I'll be able to keep up this week. And maybe I'll get a clean lap time to post insted of a drity one that if I watch it, I know I'll miss something, and then get red flaged and get sad:(. So I'll go for a clean lap time, and try not to miss anything in the replay this time.(And knowing me, I will any way) Thats why it's good that other people watch your replays.

I only say that because at this time I'm two seconds off the fastest Div3 time and sixth total on the leaderboard (which is the highest I've ever been at one time:)) And I know I can take off at most another second off my total time.

Tim,

How did you get the TVR up to that figure?

My used one will only go up 577! Are these used or new car figure you are quoting?

Neil

i just checked... maybe you forgot an oil change or something..
that TVR has 22,200+ miles on it.

A few, if not all of those cars are actually available new either by winning or buying, just in case you weren't only going after them for the color... They do have less power, after all.

If I go FWD, I have my eye on the Alfa 156, or an FTO... I'm pretty sure I'll be using the wings though, so no direct competition with ya Daan. Not that the cars would be equal anyway, but yeah. We'll see! I'm also somewhat leaning towards an older car, but the week's not over yet.

Yeah number 1 DIV 3 is my neighbor I watched him get that time legit, even if he almost threw his controller thru the tv.

My spilts in a Honda NSX Type S- zero '99

T1-23.843
T2-46.060

Aiming for fastest NSX this week.

I got some times today, but my best time is in a car I wish not to say"sigh".
I will keep doing testing.

Well, i've been busy with work so far this week but in a few spare mins i decided i missed photomode, so pointlessly took some pics of some of the cars i am contemplating using, may as well share if you guys don't mind :D

Nice blue Cerberra there Tim!

I found a one of the pearlescent ones in my used car lot, whilst buying wheels to get an NSX zero. So I bought it on a whim, and will be using it later for my first sesh on this combo.

Neil

Thanks, yeah i was surprised when i saw that colour available to had to snag it! Gotta say that the cerbera is very hard to photo without making it look ugly due to its strange lines, so i figured head on with a few degrees off would work :D

Anyone got any good settings for the 300zx 2seater? Ill swap you my rubbish settings below.

Springs 9.0/9.0
Ride H 90/90
Dampers 4/5 3/4
camber 2.0/1.5
toe 0/-1
stab 4/5
Brakes 4/3
lsd 10/25/5
aids 0/0/0
downforce 30/30
gears auto 13
tyres RS/RS

I wouldn't have a clue what I'm doing I'm afraid Randy. I just tried the Supra and beat my old splits with the 300zx but the 300zx feels faster so I'll prob go back to it.

T1: 0`21.799
T2: 0`43.322

All I do is dump it as low as it will go, stiffen it as hard as it can go then drop LSD and aids as low as I can...meh :indiff:

Board Updated

I've got what i think is a good setup for an '89 spec 300ZX @ 797hp. I tried the '98 spec with the same settings but it seemed different and not as fast. I can't take credit for all these settings as i used Ducks as a base then tweaked it a bit for the task in hand.

14.7 / 14.3

In such occasions, the french tradition is to say "Merde" and not "Bonne chance", so : "Merde".

Mostly my set ups are useless for other racers :odd:  but it worked for me.

Changed to the 3000GT '98 model. Meh. Sticking with it for now, but it's a lumpen bastard in the tighter sections. :yuck:
