Well, went bashing around some more with my DS2... too lazy to get the DFP out yet.
T1 - 0'26.876
T2 - 0'59.146
T3 - 1'20.033
I've tried alot of settings for the gearing, and even the R4 in back option. But I am sticking to R5s all around.
220 km/h max is what I am using. I tried 200, but you bounce off the limiter on the front straight. But using it makes the hill climb go alot faster, I watched the ghost from that run close several car lengths on me coming up the hill after the T1 hairpin. 250 I could see being useful, but 220 is what I think I am sticking with.
And I know their are several more tenths to go judging by STbar's times, since the difference of our T3's is just about the same as the diff in our T1's.
Then how comes you're...
Not using 6th at all? It'll bounce at least twice, on the Coast-line (S/F) and the downhill...
Just so you know, Brad. Not everybody missed this.![]()
dunno what is going on there, but i am redlining in 5th at the braking point on the s/f straight, and not hitting the limiter up through T3...
DFP is too slow for the first sector
Also, since I am so new to this stuff, are we supposed to do just a single-lap run, or just keep running it until we get a good time?
Thanks for the info. I already ran a qualifier race, but apparantly I submitted the info wrong. I'll re-do and resubmit. As for controller, currently using a DS2 (hoping to get a new controller soon as this one is really showing its ageAs many runs as you can/want. Just remember to submit before the deadline, and you'll be fine.
And as Board-updater: What controller do you use, and what division are you?
EDIT: I see you didn't get a result yet. Please run the WRS Qualifier Race, send MisterWeary the result-PM (or, in this case, to Flat-Out who is temporarily in while MisterWeary is on holiday), and receive your division.
Haven't tried it yet, but plan to today, although I'll probably be 'under the influence' and my lap times will show, but that's okay as it's still early.
I've done some of my best laps under the influence.![]()
Lol, haven't actually driven it yet... Not recently anyway. And it may very well have just been the way I was driving it. But then again, the Amuse is definitely oversteer biased.Kyle, I normally complain about perfectly balanced cars understeering... this thing does no understeer unless you just sit there and mash the gas way too soon through the corner.
I can actually get the back end to step out a little, with R5s all around, if I get forceful. So I dunno what you are on... try messing with the gearing though.
