GT5 delayed

I think it's going to be released last week. If they accelerate this date one more time we're going to get it in Xmas of 09. I'm canceling my post-order.

How can any of you think the retailiers are right? I bet if I went and looked at 10 different retailers, there would be atleast 8 different dates. Do you really think they get that info from Sony if that's the case?

Given that you've said on a previous page that you know you won't read anything useful in this thread, yet you come back in here and apparently respond to every single other poster while clearly being annoyed with their posts, I think you're probably closer to needing the padded room and straitjacket yourself.

Unless you're just trying to boost your post count in a thread that no-one is really paying much attention to, of course.
 
It's October 22 now and we still haven't heard anything. I know they said "at the end of the month", but I'am realy starting to think that this game actualy won't come until next year sometime... Sony are to quite about this.
To my knowledge they haven't shown a demo with both skidmarks, rain and damage, right? Why?
I think that they are having some very big issues with this game. :nervous:
Kaz himself said that it's hard to get such a "complex" system to work(or something like that). The game is probably not playable at all right now.

Yeah, I have seen that :) But he's the SCEE president, he would never in his life confess that they will miss the christmass release. Not until afterwards, then he will come with some excuses.

WRC2010 is laughably bad. F2010 is about the only new racing game any GT5 fan should consider. Anybody who played GT5P should feel right at home with F2010. Its feels about as accurate as Dirt 2 as far as physics are concerned. Its not iRacing or rFactor but for most people it is just fine.

Besides the fact that the vehicles in both games have 4 wheels, what other similarity do you find in them?

(Have in mind that I have both, and I enjoy F1 2010, and think that the negative criticism it have is well exaggerated. But trying to find similarities between it and GT5P...)

Fully agree.

I actually welcome people to post any dates they have heard of especially those members who work for retailers who will be selling the game. You never know these dates could actually be correct because im sure Sony will announce the release date to retailers before announcing to the general public. For example didn't the recent delay appear on some Russian website a couple of days before it was officially announced?

These kind of posts are far more informative than someone just coming on here moaning about members posts. Aslong as we don't accept these dates as confirmation then I cannot see the harm.

dates from retailer/rumors are a nice distraction and something to talk about. Its only completely made up dates that get posted that ruin it a bit.
