Cut it out manLOL...honestly, what can be more frustrating and painful than the wait for a new GT game??? I'll start...
You pick up your GT5 copy during midnight release and got home safely without getting arrested after running 4 red lights. You frantically unwrap the game and turn on your PS3. You pop the GT5 disc in for the first time, and then all of a sudden...TV says DISC ERROR, and your PS3 YLODs and dies. Then you realized that all the stores are closed by now and you can't grab a new PS3 right away.
Wow...sure hope that happens to none of us here.

Do you guys realize the irony of this? Do you realize that by trying to subdue his ability to post is ironic? Now for a disclaimer, I'm all for taking the image down for being off-topic, but to justify taking it down because you got offended by it is just stepping a bit out of bounds (and why I replied to your post (about toughening up)) in the first place.
See, by suppressing his ability to post (and therefore suppressing his ability of practicing free speech), it means that you're practicing your ability of free speech to overpower his choice to post. It's hypocrisy. I don't care if it's on the AUP or not. My point still stands.

It's perfectly legal, at least here in Canada, and it's less cruel than how cows are killed, a swift hit to the head, they don't sufficate or agonize to death. It's like captain baseball bat in max payne.
Also, since the polar ice cap almost all dissapeared and polar bears cannot catch them as they used to, there is too many seals and they eat all the fish, beside humans and bears they don't have any other predators in the artic, so if we don't kill seals to keep fish stocks, we might lose other endangered species in the artic.

I find it amazing that so many are canceling their pre-orders (or at least stating they are) when it may only be delayed by weeks. It could turn out to be a 2011 release, but at this point, WHY would they lie? It serves no purpose other than to piss off the customers.

Anywho, for those who believe the "Seal image" is cruel...if it was a cow, chicken, or pig instead of the baby seal, would you still say the same thing?
And the post above already mentioned that some of these animals have it worse than the seal.
I'm not saying that the image is appropriate, but seriously, if you're eating juicy steaks, chicken breasts, and pork chops without a guilty conscience, and call this picture as animal cruelty...then you're contradicting yourself, because you're part of the reason why these animals were slaughtered in the first place.

Just saying. That picture is old and I thought it was funny. I didn't have it saved and Google'd it to find it fast. If you go to Google and type "warranty void if s" it automatically posts 8 images of that. So I must not be the only one to find humor in it.

We got 5 days, but I doubt anyone works at Sony on the weekends, so technically 3 days. Oct. 27th, 28th, 29th...I bet if there's gonna be a release date announcement this month, it's gonna be on Thursday, 28th, because no one works on a Friday.

However I also hope for a late November release. I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed.
I recently just bought some component cables so I could hook my PS2 up to my TV (it doesn't have an A/V connection for some reason) and have been finishing up GT4. GT4 is great but after getting used to GT5
visuals it lacks some. Granted it still looks better than any of my other PS2 games save for maybe FFXII.- 217

I have been playing GT4 some too with my new DFGT wheel. Had already did 100% on it so started a new profile and went back to the POS stuff.
I am using component cables on a 37" and have tried all the settings, seems to look best at 480p.

I have come to the conclusion that GT4 was never ever ever meant to be played on high definition TVs lol. It looks great on standard TVs but I haven't seen it on one of those in about 3 years. It still looks great for a PS2 game but again I guess we are all spoiled by high definition and the new generation of consoles.

At least it worked. Me, I decided to go thru Gt4 again only to realize, as I put the disk in that my ps3 doesn't allow backwards compatibility. On top of that my ps2 is broke. Guess I'm stuck with forza 3 and a gamepad till gt5.

It seems like you're just acting like this to grasp control over someone else, to control what they say or what they do simply because you don't like it. Does thinking that it's not right, save the women that are stoned? Just like the stoned women in Iran, you also can't control the sick images on the internet. So instead of doing something about it, you have this babble that provides you a comfortable illusion that you can actually do something about it.

Oh I can see the humor in it. Another member was offended about it and it seemed he was getting ganged up on. So I stuck my nose in it. Silly me. I may not like it or think it was a good place to post it,but I would have moved on. Yeah ever since the delay the forums have been quite testy. They better get this game out soon!
