Small question, whether you know anything about the currency that will be used in the game? I hope that there will be no GT5P credits... we nead real values

Why?

GT's always had credits. If we have real values then most cars will be cheaper from American players, more expensive for UK players and an absolute rip-off if you're unlucky enough to be Scandinavian.

Maybe the car delivery thing is for cars that are gifted to you from other players. I know that this is a feature that will be on the game as I remember reading about it. Kind of like an inbox but with cars instead of e-mails. What do you guys think?

God help you if you're in Zimbabwe. You'd need three monitors to fit in all the zeros.

*Apologies for the double post. Momentary lapse of concentration.

** Thanks for the edit, Famine.

It'll use a credit system based off approximations of the real value of the vehicle/whatever in your currency.

ie the value of a corrolla will be the price of a Corrola in Japan, then changed to whatever currency you use based on the value of your currency, then labeled as Credits.

Me too!!!! :)

And me!!

Or Portuguese.

Example: Civic type-R
- UK: 21,725 pounds
- PT: 40,420 euros = 34,375 pounds

Yes please "global" credits :)

So after seeing the bundle, there is really a chance that the game will be released :) And maybe no more delays :) Still don´t believe it but we´ll see :)

That SLS must have done it to kaz, on the cover, on the PS3, everwhere they use the SLS... But the PS3 looks really great...

BTW. that shop is really expensive :embarrassed: GT5 for 118$ WTH? That makes 113 US $ and 84€... I will order my copy from England for around 43€ lol...

I still cant beleve GT5 will release on 2nd November. Dreams come true,, i thought GT5 wasnt developed by Human Beings llol. it was tabuu or something.
I dont think Mercedes paid alot money coz Kaz is not Moneylover, he said Auto company offers lots of money to put their car to Gt5. but we decline them

Guys, did anyone ever figure out what "car delivery" means?

I think/hope it means you can pack up a selection of cars from your garage and 'deliver' them to a Free Run circuit for direct back-to-back testing, instead of having to back out of Free Run, head back to the Garage page, pick a new car, exit out of Garage page, head back to the circuit via Free Run and start over again. It's something i 'wished' for on the early GT5 wish list thread.

Not sure if this is already posted, but here's the latest from the actual GT5 site. It confirms you can give cars and even parts to friends as gifts, and also says you can rent out your B-Spec Bob drivers to someone else. Confirms also that weather is only available on certain courses, and windshield wipers don't work on Standard Cars.

A GT5 USB Key would be a good idea as well. I for one will be making back-ups regularly, and that would look awesome :)

Having the PS3 always on from Nov on, may take a toll on the (then) 3 year old hardware, and I wouldn't want to loose my game progress :scared:

Edit: I know the Signature edition has a USB Key, I mean to sell one (not the same) it as an independent accessory

So ... standard and premium tracks then?

I don't know, the visuals would have to be different on the other tracks for that to be the case I think, and we don't know about that yet, so it's possible the other tracks just don't have the option for weather but beyond that are just as good.

It shouldn't be that much of a surprise, considering the Euro is meh at the best of times and the USD is just a turd that hadn't been flushed yet.

Although one could argue that it costs so much because Australian dollar is the only western currency that isn't useless, part of it is that we Aussies always get shafted with game release dates and prices. $109.95 is the usual price for a new game, probably going to rise to $119 sometime soon.

Cracking idea :D

All I'd come up with was this would be where all the cars you had recently acquired would be stored for you to view before they were transfered to your garage. This may be more relevant if you win both premium and standard cars at the same time, another thought I've had as Kazunori has said in the past progression in the game will be different than previous GT games possibly meaning you acquire cars quicker.

I just think it would be very hard to do realistic weather effects on tracks like Grand Canyon (would become mud), Toscane, etc.

Yep, i think so too. In GT4 you sometimes have enough money to buy a couple of used cars and store them in the garage until you get some time to service and wash 'em before usage. However they tend to get 'lost' in the garage when you have 100's of cars. So now it will be easier to track the 'unserviced' new cars or prize cars you received..... I think:)

I still think it will be cars gifted to you from other players, as I pointed out as being possible on the last page. If someone gifted you a car you'd never realise they gave it to you without this Car Delivery menu screen.
