It's a hoot in there. You should see what Duke can do with a donut.

31 Car Modelers x 12 Months =62 cars a year
62 Cars a year x 4 Years = 248 Premium Cars

May be on to something.

I still wonder how literal Kaz was being about that number. He does toss them out rather arbitrarily. Soon it will all be clear.

Not even Lakota? I feel betrayed :single tear:

... Is it still reported that it understands Latin American Spanish, while Castilian Spanish is unrecognized?

Haha. I was just about to say I wonder what goes on the the mod section :dopey:

Maybe mod spelled backwards gives us an idea. :D

Well, it doesn't matter what you "see" or "feel" or "think," it only matters what is true...

Stopped reading here, sorry. If you don't care what I think, it's kinda pointless to bother going any further or, heaven forbid, actually replying with what I see.

Off topic anyway, and any reply would only fuel this discussion about the "MS conspiracy theory to rule the world" that really does not belong in this thread.

This is a bunch of nonsense, folks. Famine, you don't need to explain or justify your moderator power to anyone. If they don't like the way you use your power, they can leave any time.

But you play by the same rules as everyone else on here. You certainly couldn't get away with swearing or posting pornographic images. Saying otherwise doesn't help anything.

I think it is up to anyone to question the actions or motives of a mod provided any discussion on the matter is within guidlines of the AUP.

A Mods or Admins decision is final if within the boundaries of AUP, as this power has been granted to them by the site owner, but like mentioned above, I am free to debate as long as I do not disregard the AUP, which I am because this thread is off topic but that is ok according to Famine:sly:

So accroding to you, a mod can do as he/she pleases and if we do not like it then we can leave!! If that was the case GTP would not have many members left.

I was just kissing ass. Moderators are human and make poor judgements just like anyone else. But there are more appropriate avenues for questioning a moderator's decisions than hijacking a thread that, last I checked, was supposed to be about Gran Turismo 5.

Since being off-topic isn't part of the AUP, I don't see how it can be against the AUP...

People never read the AUP.

I've got a brilliant idea. New members must send in a video of them reciting the AUP from memory in order to be granted the ability to post. :P

I take it then old members get grandfather rights.:sly: If we didn't i would be screwed, because my memory is gone and i can't find it anymore!:sly:

(Hand in face)

That is a point I fought strongly on many forums when Mods would always point out that a member agreed to the AUP upon sign up and thus must have read it, and I would say nobody ever reads it!! (evidently)

Can I for future debates please have permission to quote you:idea: haha

PS if being off topic is not againts the AUP, then what rules are we breaking and what power do you have to keep a thread on track! (I think I have found a loophole here haha)

A French guy got his own copy of the demo-dunno if this has been reported yet, but he has about 10 high quality videos on his YouTube page...its looks and sounds pretty sweet.

Mmmm, what does this mean for the rest of us, GT5 Demo on PSN, or is that dreaming?

How can forza have 500 cars with fully modeled interiors in so much less time than GT5? I know Gt5 has very high standards and all but it doesn't seem like it should take THAT much longer.

So how does forza do it?

Have you seen what Forza cars look like in action?? And no I don't mean Photomode:)

All of GT5's cars are done in house. They don't outsource anything which is why all the Premium models have the same detail in them. No matter if it's something like the Suzuki Swift or a Ferrari.

^I think they used some laser scanning technology to get the interiors down quickly and efficiently...I have no idea what PD used to model but it must be one fantastic technology.

And I kinda find it funny how Forza sneaks into a lot of topics...

At the beginning of the Enzo video where he hits the Viper from behind, I still can't understand what exactly happened to the Viper. :dunce:

Yeah I noticed that...like it dissapeared or something. Hopefully its fixed in full game.

Sorry to bring up forza but I was just reading the conversation about how long it takes PD to model cars and wondered how forza can do it so much faster.

By the way, I read that PD uses software called "Maya" by "autodesk" to model their cars.

I can accept that car sounding like that. hoping for all to be improved
The collision sounds. They don't sound like bass drums anymore. 👍

Something about outsourcing modeling work. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I hated that, either a bass drum or a wheelie bin! I also hope that they get the jump/land physics correct. The feel when landing along with the sound effects at eiger were pretty lame.

Jeez it is only a month away.
