It still says "20 tracks" when we know there will be more than 20. What's with the course count changing all the time or being different on every web page? lol. It's too confusing, PD/Sony should just come out and tell us once and for all how many tracks the game will have.

Wake up!!
20 location means Place or countr 70+TRacks.
70+ TRACKS. 70+ TRACKS.

I hope there are 60-70 unique tracks!

How can we tune the track weather on our own? If it is static on the remaining courses that aren't Premium [and have dynamic weather] then wouldn't the game assign a random weather condition or time of day to each track?

However it's true that there has been apparently contradicting information about the track count.

Taken from Amazon: "Plenty of Courses - Rip it up in more than 20 courses, more than 60 layouts".

Now, before anyone rips into me I know there will be more than 20 tracks and that 20 probably means locations or countries but I still think it can be confusing.

I read the post before I made the comment. I singled out that in particular, not the whole post.

He only meant to say that the bit you singled out only makes sense in the context of my post or can only be understood if you got what I ( jokingly to be clear ) said in that post.
Anyway, back on topic..........

Hmm.. How cool would it be if someone made a book or something based on this thread :) "The Journey - The ups and downs of a Gran Turismo fan" Haha.. Or a video montage:)

We have private rooms. We can tune everything what we want from there.PD did changeable weather. I m sure we have static weather.coz We have Weather system. Dynamic is hard one. I hope we will see real Life weather changes in the game .
All tracks are not include dynamic weather confirmed,, Toscana sample of Day and night Transition, You can count to Green Hell 24 H racing and Le Sarthle
Eiger Nordwand is Sample of Weather system

You think this is real? Would be confirmation of DLC.

Hm, there's a typo right at the start: "Polyphony Digital present..."

can't wait. . I mean. . .REALLY can't wait. Hey guys n gals, this game is gonna be immense. Roll on nov 5. Come the 4th it's gonna be 1 VERY sleepless night. Oh and by the way, the thread is great. Taken me 3 days to read it properly :) hats off to you all

I feel that way too from time to time.

What bothers me is all the vagueness surrounding GT5 - the absolutely nonsensical way PD has gone about it's answers during interviews and the purposeful secrecy that is still lasting to this very day about just exactly what features and how many tracks are going to be included in the final, retail build of GT5.

I'd be pretty secretive too, if I had a huge flagship game to release and many competitors waiting to find out what new features they'd like to borrow for their own games.

Plus, there is nothing like a little laconic information pipeline to keep people talking and speculating about your efforts; look at all the positive and negative reactions that keep this forum surging.

Damn, a lot of people are going through a GT5 depression right now. I do agree that PD should release some more info, if not hold a press conference and near the end have a Q&A where viewers can send in questions as well, that way we don't get stupid questions from places like Gamestop or IGN where they ask "What was your breakfast?" or "Is the Bugatti Veyron in the game?" (it is by the way, I mean why wouldn't it be?).

That way, we can ask the questions, and we'll either be satisfied or get the usual riddle answer. But if you think about it, Gran Turismo 5 is Polyphony Digital's biggest game yet, and it may be the biggest PS3 game so far, why release almost all the information? Wouldn't you guys prefer playing through the game only to find some sweet surprise that PD never told us about? I know I would.
