Apparently Sony Europe is inviting some journalists to check out the full game. There will be a presentation and those journalists will have two hours to check out the game.

Oh, I wasn't looking at the changing ad banner. I figured it would be in a release date section or something.
I really don't know if there was a release date before. Maybe someone in this forum could tell us. But I'm starting to get scared with all of these rumors
Don't worry. It's not "all these rumors"......it's one site that nobody has heard of before that are most likely using it to generate hits.

The Australian site has the same banner saying November 3rd (? even though its on the 4th for us) next to the Citreon GT, but on the Products page still just says Nov 2010.
Google's cache from September 27th had Nov 2010 on the GB site.

Just to throw it in there. There was a playable GT5 demo hidden away in a tent at the Bathurst 1000 last weekend. I didn't even see it... but a kid at the place I was staying at told me he drove the Impreza Rally car in 3D. No word on any V8 Supercars or Bathurst track, though. 👎 Would have been the perfect place to reveal Australian content in GT5.

I just downloaded WRC demo off of the European psn. I just want to say It freaking blows. IMO. Jaggies everywhere and it feels like it was made for the Sega Genesis. Man what a waste of time. I recommend if you have no life. Live strong GT.
Such a disappointment all the previous WRC titles were great. WRC 4 on the ps2 looks better than this

Yea i know, WRC is far more important!
All Milestone will care about is $$$ and WRC fans will buy it just because of the game cover they see in the shop

Will it still be possible to use manual gears in cars with automatic transmission in GT5?
I just did some research on the Nissan Skyline 350 GT from GT5P. Apparently that car only comes with an automatic transmission but GT5P does not seem to consider that as a reason to disable manual gear shifts. At first I thought the missing shifting animation was because the car could have shifting paddles on the wheel but it hasn't. There may be other similar examples but isn't this kind of randomness weird in a game such as GT?
I experienced something like that at Le Mans this year. I had a quick look inside a Playstation tent and saw a lot of people dancing to some annoyingly loud music. When I came back home again I realised that were demo stands for GT5 in there. Sad!

How about some positive news. As October 9th, Gran Turismo 5 ranks 8th in US Pre-orders with over 200,000 pre-orders and climbing.
Remember, also, that 4 of the titles ahead of GT5 will come out before GT5 which will put the racer in 4th place in the US. That's pretty freakin' impressive.

Yes sir, The demo im playing is so small compared to GT5 and im loving every minute of it.
I really cant imagine how good GT5 is going to be. November 2 is going to be a great day!Similar threads
