Breaking news:

Sony sets release date for revolutionary time machine, February 2011.

A Sony representative at a Press conference stated: The machine will be ready by the end of 2010. We will be able to stretch the time-space continuem to travel 10 years in either direction in time. This will enable us to bring technologies back to the past with us, including the time machine itself, so we can use it repeatedly. However, we cannot confirm the release date for GT5 at this time.

Meanwhile, 1 year later and 10 years earlier, Sony announced revolutionary time machine to be released February 2001... But GT5 release delayed further still.

I LOLed so hard :)

I was actually referring to this kind of thing: Microsoft buys 1995

In page code we can found this...

Code:
Gran Turismo 5 - GT5 confirmed to have a May 2010 worldwide release.

Seems like a really dumb thing to do on Sony's part. If it is true and they requested it pulled cos they wanted it to remain a secret then they just drew attention to it. If it isn't true then surely it's just another fake release date posted by some monkey on a forum.

I'm plumping for option 3 - Sony never asked them to delete it at all - GS is just trying to get some traffic like the click-ho's they are :sly:

Now what was this all about? (This result comes up when you google for GT5 now). :dunce:

That means Sony is spying on Internet for no spoilers?
I`m sure they are watching every forums to watch the people reactions and how many hype we got.

I don't believe they care about the "GT5 Confirmed to have a May worldwide release" or they would have had that pulled as well. Whatever was actually in that post that was requested to be removed is what they didn't want everyone to see.

Also, those who have PM'd the guy asking for info, I don't believe he will be saying anything if Sony has threatened him with a lawsuit for spilling confidential information. If he's a Sony employee, he could be in jeopardy of losing his job. (or may already have)

Or that.

Ok, HOLD ON!!

This is based on a gamespot FORUM post?!?

LOL, we have been had.. this is a old joke from gamefaqs where people acted like a insider by posting this "this post has been removed by (insert company name)" on random games who had a lot of hype but not a release date yet.

GTA4 springs to mind, even vice city had this joke.. nevermind this rumour, someone is having a laugh right now. ;)

💡
Take a look at the IP: 209.85.229.132
2+0+9+8+5+2+2+9+1+3+2 = 43 - 20 possible Track-Locations =
.... Oh my God 23
:dunce:

I just searched the GDC website for any clues and came up empty handed. Although Turn 10 is going to give a speech about "Making a car sound like a car".

Nice, some PD people should go there 💡

Oh, maybe not, we don't need another delay...

I wonder what they are going to do with those Information EVENT_OVERTAKE things, they obviously are not final, but will probably be used...
