I'm glad to see Kaz address this issue so quickly.

And to all the people that say people are whiners.....I'm glad some people do (whine) talk about legitimate issues because without these people stuff like this would never get fixed.

Except for the fact that there is a significant difference between whining and offering constructive criticism. I would wager those offering constructive criticism about legitimate issues are often addressed, while whiners are not only often ignored, but I suspect they can also have adverse effects.

I am nearing that 400 car mark in trying to eventually reach that 1,000 Car trophy. You don't need one of every car, but it's just crazy to have so many cars in a game... and all in your possession!

I was looking at a recent Drift Trial rankings when I noticed most of the Top 10 had the Buick Special. I think I have that Buick Special in my collection. What I DON'T have, however, is the old Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car (nor do I have the race car variant). A car MUST be good if many people have a certain car. I have to wonder what kind of setup or something people have for the R390 GT1 Road Car. That is a car I hope to get into my GT5 collection along with (hopefully) the Toyota 7. Only thing that would be cool is if either or both cars are gifted to me.

Sorry to break up the more popular topics with my own input, but I'm still basically car hunting. I also make sure to log in each day to GT5 to keep that bonus going high. I'm nearing Level 35 (A-Spec). A win or two will put me finally at Level 35.

Regarding the DLC usage for multiple accounts, We’re planning an another update for GT5 in December. In that update users who purchased cars and tracks from the DLC already, -can receive a free “family upgrade” in the PS Store, which will let all users in the same PS console use the DLC. And though we looked into this, unfortunately there’s no solution for crossing multiple regions. I’m sorry, but we have to ask you to match the region of your disc and your PSN account setting. People who bought the DLC cars will have those cars added to the dealers in the December update. After this December update you can purchase a second car and so on from the dealer.

Kaz just posted this on twitter, additionally including :

Next, don’t get your hopes up too high, but PDI is also readying a X-mas present for those who’ve already bought multiple DLCs.

I hope the x-mas gift will be cool, and the cars will be added to the dealers that means i can tune the dlc cars awesome :)

I actually bought car nr. 1000 today (about 980 unique cars). It is really incredible to have all of that in your garage. Keep going!

Man I can't beleve that I have just spent the last 2 hrs on Spa online and I'm in the U.S. talk about try then buy :) and yes you have to have this track, It's the best track in the game.......... wow 👍

I've also noticed that the textures, graphics and lighting effects on this track are better than all the other ones although the 'Nurb comes pretty close. I hope that in the future they update all the tracks so they look this good :).

I'd say that lightning effects on the change weather version looks weird when the sky is clear. Just look at the dramatic car reflections. Overcast version looks terrific though.

I've only raced on the sunny day version lol but when it becomes available in my region on Tuesday *fingers crossed*, I'll try the weather change version as well. :)

Please please for the December update more exotic European and American cars(muscle cars). Like the new Maserati, Lambo, Veryon SS, etc. Please not another Nissan please

but then if you've done engine tune or added other parts that can't be uninstalled, they'll still be there when you switch to other setups.

Good point but I use the engine restrictor I know it will never be the same as the original so I tend to remove 10hp to allow for the very flat hp range.

If wonder if our CSI:Gran Turismo can spot something interesting here :D

This has probably been discussed somewhere but I couldn't find it.
Are the DLC touring cars all of similar spec?
Are they able to race competitively against each other ?

Something new?
Nissan UK is building a GTR powered Juke!
A nice engine swap ;)
They show all the creative process in some nice little vids.

In the third one, we see one of the engineers driving a car (a GTR? or the Juke R?) on a GT5 pod saying that they must see first if the Juke chassis with a GTR powerplant is driveable... Are they got a Juke-R by Polyphony? And if it's real did we get that car in the future?

Power limiter? Find out what the output was before the mods and then go back afterwards and create a stock tune of that amount of BHP. Most BHP ugrades e.g. filters, Chip, exhaust can be reverted to stock.

A normally aspirated car will always have better balance and weight distribution than a car using forced air induction. Anyways I would recommend maxing the RX7 TC - the thing is a beast.
Plus no need to worry, Kaz said we would be able to purchase the TC's in the NCD in December anyways. 👍

Yes^

If you want to know why the Aston Martin V8 Vantage doesn't turn, it's because it has dual superchargers. :yuck: ...and that is before upgrading it with a third supercharger in the tuning shop. :sly:

Erm, you are aware that a designer can setup a car's weight distribution more or less how they like? It's not as if they start by designing a naturally aspirated car then add all the extra weight of turbo/supercharger/intercooler as an afterthought (in most cases).

More or less. The Skylines can race eachother pretty good, though it requires a little bit of tuning to get the same pp. All in all you can put them into the same race with about 650-680pp, but you have to modify the slower ones. The cars that wont fit into this race are the RedBull Prototype, the PDI Karts and the Prius. Iam not quite shure if the CR-Z can be modified to keep up with 680pp though.

I have finally reached Level 35 today. Still five levels down from the coveted Level 40. I got 439 cars in my collection (the "What Did You Buy Today?" thread highlights some of my latest purchases, including the Spyker C8 Laviolette). The Formula GT events seem to be some of the highest-paying Seasonal events when at 200% in bonuses. A win at High Speed Ring yielded a good 400K Credits and 51K experience. If I was a better formula racer, I'd probably would have a lot more money and experience. However, I am just not good at racing formula-type cars in games.
