If wonder if our CSI:Gran Turismo can spot something interesting here :D

Possible new track on the screen behind Kaz...

However, I am just not good at racing formula-type cars in games.

The solution is more coffee. :)

I did a Formula GT one make race at Spa last night for the first time (have been too busy to try the DLC yet) and it was just awesome. Pushing 370km/h down the long straight after Eau Rouge, then diving up the inside of a car or two under brakes into the right hander... just fantastic!

The Formula GT events seem to be some of the highest-paying Seasonal events when at 200% in bonuses. A win at High Speed Ring yielded a good 400K Credits and 51K experience.

While completing different events is more fun, if you don't mind repeating the same event for sake of earning credits and XP, currently the most efficient event is the Ferrari Seasonal Event @ La Sarthe. It's just one lap using any Ferrari road car with no other limitations. To win the race you'll need to finish in just under 4min, which is fairly easy to do. With a modified Enzo you can easily win this race in under 3:30 and be rewarded 336k cr. I'm not sure about the XP, but I suspect it's close to 40k... and as an added bonus, it's done on arguably one of the more desirable tracks in the game... and in a Ferrari of your choice.

In just one hour you can rack up over 5 million cr and over 500k XP.

How good is the Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze car compared to the LM cars? Has anyone set a really good lap at the 'Ring in it?

And I wonder if we'll ever break the world record longest forum thread here...? It's just over 121,000 I believe.

Hey, this is kinda random, but my version of GT5 seems to freeze when I'm signed in to PSN. It's only come up lately (last day or two) but the instant I sign out of the PSN the game runs fine again. Anyone else had this problem/know of a fix?

It's slower than the LM cars. It's actually slower than the stock GTR down the long straight at the Nurburgring (300ish vs 270) presumably because of the extra downforce and the inlet restrictors. But it is extremely easy to drive consistently, and quick through the corners, which is more or less what you want in a 24hr racer.

It keeps happening to me a lot lately, even when just exiting my garage or car lot I get the black screen with the silver GT logo for like 5 mins. Never happened to me before now.

Don't get your hopes too high. We have seen complete Toyota concept, ready for put in the game and we still can't drive it.

You right, I don't want get high hopes, but maybe it will come Concept car pack as DLC. We just have to sit down and wait. :)

Anyway, What car is this???

Looks to me more like a BMW Isetta than a Peel P50 since it has a more rounded shape and the rear wheels seem more exposed although it's impossible to be certain from that picture.

I am nearing 500 cars in my Garage (about 494 on my last count), and I have gone back to doing B-Spec racing. The Amateur races are cleared for my B-Spec racers. Next up for my B-Spec team is the Muscle Car Championship. It's probably a good thing the B-Spec races are longer (usually double the length of an A-Spec race) because I can not fathom having to have my B-Spec drivers be so passive and cautious for a short race trying to win. Almost have to overpower your car to have the best chance to win in B-Spec. Heck, I was so upset at my B-Spec racers trying to win a Euro Hot Hatch event... that I made my B-Spec racer race at Eiger Nordwand in the Delta S4 rally car! Dominated that race.

With that boost in money and experience for consecutive logins, you still make more money in Seasonals than you do in the in-game races. I looked at some of the Endurance races, and some Endurances pay about as much or half as much as a Seasonal. I still have not made my Endurance debut in GT5 as of this post. I am sort of trying to complete the Extreme events before crossing into the Endurance realm.
