A "nothing to do question". Is the older updates still active to download?
I guess so. I recently replaced my dead PS3 and had to download all of the patches so far (including 2.0).
It took hours!

Hey everyone, go to "Most Wanted Tracks" in the Customer Feedback section and vote for Bathurst! It's losing quite badly to Interlagos which IMO isn't as good
What customer feedback section? Where is it? A link would be nice please!
For example, when gifting items, after each gift you send you stay in that same menu - as you should, but if you gift a museum card it sends you all the way back to the Community menu, and as you mentioned, if you buy a car it sends you back to the main GT menu. Now for those who want to change the oil to get the boost in power, this is a good thing, but then again, this really should be a choice that the player should get to make.
Is the feedback section updated? Last time I was reporting some bugs on the helping area. What customer feedback section? Where is it? A link would be nice please!
Nothing new for days? I was hoping for some news regarding the release of the next batch of DLC sometime soon. It has to be soon and my money is on a few packs arriving in time for Christmas for the big cash in.
I'd be guessing something is in the works for the 1 year. Maybe DLC then a 1 year?
-> Hmm, its SEMA week today. I wonder which car will win the GT Awards this year, I hope its the V8-powered Genesis Coupe RM500.
-> I'm not stating my post as a request like my other thread VWL. I'm just wondering...thats all, since PD does this GT Awards @ SEMA every year. But I'm rooting for the RM500 (on which that is an off-topic debacle).

Nicely done! I remember when I first got Gold on this, in my opinion easiest of the three. The key is late braking (the AI brake really early if I remember), or even no braking as you only ever go ~50mph into a corner. Don't hit the AI too hard though or you'll fail. Also, drafting is key, as it increases top speed just enough that you'll win. Can't remember exactly but I think in the end I won by around 3 seconds over 2nd.For the first time, I won one of the Top Gear Special Events. I was simply trying to do a sample race just to take some pictures and add to my Gran Turismo blog when suddenly... I finally won! I cleared the Gran Turismo SambaBus Challenge with gold. Even more so, I won the race in just one try! That is a strange thing about me- when I try to win something, I don't do as well as I could. But when I try to do something casually and not be real serious, I end up winning or do very well. Story of my life. My previous best finish with the SambaBus Challenge was 2nd.
Anyhow, I'm pleased to win this one!
Is there anyone who knows the cars are nominated for the SEMA GT Award this year? I read something about a Porsche (!) and a 66 Mustang :S

EDIT: Since no one else seems to be in a speculation type mode, i'm gonna come right out and say it. I hope this will be a patch which will include real cars and more tracks that will be unlocked via DLC which will become available on the 1 year anniversary of GT5 (24th November).

I wouldn't hold my breath on that wild idea of yours because chances are; you're probably gonna be very disappointed.
I think the camaro won best in show award.
Creator of Gran Turismo franchise Kazunori Yamauchi, right, presents Mary Pozzi with the GT Best in Show award for her 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 in Las Vegas. The vehicle will appear in a future release of Gran Turismo franchise.
yep..
