So again, how does this make any sense? You comment that 256Mb is not enough,then say the reason Nordschliefe and Spa look better is because they're "premium"? Are they not restricted by the RAM then?

I think only the tracks with weather have good textures.

Tracks like : Nurburgring , La Sharte, High speed ring, Monza , Spa, Suzuka, Fuji, Eiger, Rome, Madrid, Tsucuba look very good in GT5. but track like: Grand valley, Laguna Seca, TM circuit, Deep forest look bad and need to be remade for GT6

I'll take this one. :) Plus the Suzuka and Toscana tracks have grass as well, because they're premium right? Even the trees in some premium tracks looks okay They must all look like this in GT6.

Its just the standard tracks that don't look so good, and really do need to be remade BIG time. If PD are able to make the cars look good, then scenery must have that same love as well. Come on! Don't forget about the water too, that doesn't move period.
 
Guys the Ps3 has 512Mb of ram. It's split into 2 pools, 256mb Vram and 256mb system ram. This does not mean that the PS3 is restricted to the Vram pool for graphics, because the Ps3's Cell carries out traditional GPU tasks like lighting and post processing effects, and it uses system ram.
 
I came here for the news not for the Premium or Standard tracks...lol

So...any news or rumours about DLC´s after GT academy or something like that?

As for GT stalling whilst Forza shows continued improvement personally I feel the complete oposite. GT5 made massive improvements over GT4 in terms of new features......whilst Forza 4 added very little over Forza 3 in terms of new features.....yes Forza 4 took an already good Forza 3 and made everything a little better....but GT5 added a ton a new features over GT4.

And you'd know this how being that you've never played a Forza game nor owned an xbox360?

We've had this conversation on another board way too many times and I've pointed out a ton of what FM4 brought to the table that was new or improved from FM3 or older Forza titles.

Selective reading at it's finest my friend.. but if you want to continued talking with the blinders on, then by all means continue.

I´m researching right now in how it works and how much it costs, and of course if i can have the opportunity to see Kaz there or how to access his conference -time and day-. (taking a picture with him will be awesome...)

If that is possible i am thinking in give him a formal letter or something like that not only with some kind of "petitions" but some ideas and advice for the future.
Of course that having in consideration all that was said here in the forums by all people and some stuff to open a little bit his mind. (if that is possible lol)

Mature stuff, not complains or anything related, serious and important things as it should be.

But first i need to research a little bit more.

I tell something here if i can go or i´ll make a new thread.

I found the main site of Gamelab.

The conference is going to take place in the Pavilion 1 from "La Fira de Barcelona" in the auditorium Mini-games at 12:00 the day Friday 29. Price 80€.

The name of his conference is: "Surpassing the limits of a virtual experience", and we know more or less that he is going to talk about GT Academy. (quite obvious)

One thing, Kaz is going to receive the Prize of Honour from The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. (last year was Hideo Kojima)

I am sure that he is not going to talk about GT5 itself or anything related to the "future" of the game. He is going to talk about his ideas and maybe something about the game and as i said before mostly about GT Academy and how a virtual game can turn a "normal person into a race driver". And maybe about the future of it.

PlayStation is going to have a stand with PSVita and some games. Don´t know about PS3...this is not as E3, not even close to it. It is more for the people who is involved in the business. Not about games specially but of course has something to do and they show games there and demos.

I would like know more about FFB changes after 2.04 update. Many of us feel that FFB over curbs was better before the update. Any change to give us more options regarding FFB in the future?

Of course 1:1 steering animation would be nice also in GT.

It doesn't seem to have the actual packs (anymore), but they are both mentioned in the "complete pack"; that is, it specifically states that neither the Scion FR-S nor Twin Ring Motegi are included in the complete pack. I guess it's more-or-less what we were all expecting.

If you're talking about the part in red, it actually translates to "Does not include', which means none of the packs, including the Scion FR-S and Twin Ring Motegi pack, are included in it.
