Money played of course a role. The GT or Forza advertisment costs money.

Which is absolute ********. The Gran Turismo brand is miles away bigger than the Forza brand. All anybody could talk about during Le Mans was the GT academy. Meanwhile Forza is plastered all around the track and nobody says anything. Forza may be a better game, but it certainly isn't close to retain the brand value of Gran Turismo.

Well that's True. You didn't quote the complete Post if i remind Correct. The "Forza is leading Brand" Part was what the LE Mans People Said After they signed the deal.
If you Look at metacritics and other pages FM4 is the best Console Racing Game this Generation. Well i like and prefer GT.

Pls read the hole conversation next Time otherwise my Post doesn't make sense. I know that GT is a bigger Brand than Forza but that can Chance in the Future.

Ch3ng, I understand you, you are often missunderstood if what you really are is just beeing unbiased towards both GT and Forza.

Thx :) maybe its sometimes my fault, because my english is not good. I understand everything but can't Write Good enough to explain everything i want to say.

Believe me I wasn't having a go on the Forza V GT thing in terms of gameplay. Sorry if I took you out of context.

After a few months since last playing GT5 (letting my brother borrow GT5), I've recently gotten back into playing GT5. You can call it as getting back into the rotation (to use baseball speak). I am getting back into playing GT5. I have been posting on here and in my Gran Turismo blog about the shortcomings and disappointments of GT5. Can a game be disappointing yet still be great to play? Absolutely. Haven't done any racing since getting back GT5, but I do want to at least try the newer Seasonals.
 
I've been away from this game for quite a while, so I've been unaware of the daily login bonus and the Performance Difference Bonus. I've been running the 4WD challenge at Le Mans (2-laps), and I'm only on the 130% login bonus. I'm already making about 750,000 cr. with a 460PP Impreza RM, and I'm pretty sure I can lower the PP even more and still win this event, which would mean that I could potentially make about 1.75-2M credits per event once I get the 200% login bonus. Making money in GT5 has definitely changed since I've been away.

Pretty much my opinion as well. GT5 is massively flawed but regardless its still fun to play at times. I don't actually think its as bad as everybody makes out, in fact for what it does do right, no racing game on the console can match, but they are few and far between. From my perspective, PD should have done exactly what they did for GT3 in turning it into a development game. Instead its like a collage of different things they've tried to cram in as little time as possible. Sometimes simplicity is the key to a great game.

Excellent thanks good to know I won't miss out as I remember some people missed out on Claiming their GT Academy GTR when it was released for a certain time to everyone. Thanks :)
 
Whilst that Subaru looks better than the standard version it's clearly not up to the quality of premium cars in the final game, which I assume is why it's not in. Why they didn't finish it to proper premium quality is anyones guess though.
 
They might have done by now. So the question is, why haven't they put it in an update / DLC pack? Which is, at this point, basically the same as asking why they haven't been releasing DLC at a higher rate. The easy answer to which is "GT6", but we shouldn't stir the rabble. :P

Just seen somebody on a free run session sporting the GT Academy cars. What gives?

Were they the 2012 ones or the ones already in the game?
 
Hmmm. He was driving a 370Z Turbo like in Round 8 and I'm pretty sure a Black Edition GTR.

Edit: There were no years present on the decals. Didn't know there were already GTA cars in game. Got a GTR from last year but thats it.
