Some say he can't quite grasp the concept of time and when shown a copy of Forza 3 he just went totally silent for 2 months.....
All we know is, he's called the Kaz....

totally non-news, and unrelated to latest posts but...

I would actually love to see the move implented in GT5, if, and ony if, there will be livery editor. To do a custom paintjob with MOVE could be quite fun. And quite sure its patchable, so it can come at a later point...

Other non-news, Am i the only one worried with the frontpage news of the new dmg?

“In GT5, NASCAR cars will able to smash into little pieces – some the size of a bolt.”

Doesn't say anything about the amount of dmg, just the sizes of the parts falling off. Wich in reality isn't far from the WRC we have seen so far. Big chunks = good, little pieces = :(

I know this might not mean much, but on the May edition of the magazine "Automobile", there's a very interesting picture of a Porsche 918. On the GPS screen or whatever you want to call it, there's a picture of a menu of racetracks with an EXTREMELY close look to the menu of courses in GTPSP. I'll try to take a scan, or picture of it, and I'll post it up.

P.S. There's clearly, in the picture, the 'Ring, Seattle Circuit from GT2, Opera Paris from GT4, Seoul, and one tiny bit of a course which I can't make out, even though it seems relatively familiar to me.

Old.

Funny how it just gets singled down to my strong and demanding attitude  Like nobody else is fed up of the lack of news...
Suppose there was an epic movie premier coming soon. It was a major event, written by world class authors and screen writers, and chock full of talented stars. A movie Hollywood actually did right in the classic tradition of epic flicks. It wasn't that far off from opening night and the grand gala.

However, some fans weren't happy with waiting till the actual affair, and spent a lot of time complaining and ranting on message boards. For whatever reason, someone got hold of a digital copy of the production print, and threw the whole thing up on a torrent. Within a day, it had spread across the globe. It was hosted on numerous websites. It was in YouTubes. Parts of it were gifed and used as avatars on message boards, or animated banners. The film ending punchline was on t-shirts all over the planet.

The release party was ruined. The studio was devastated. Half the planet wanted to find the guy and string him up by his sensitives.

Fortunately, it didn't happen. It was a bad dream, and the few weeks passed, no one died because of the short wait, and the release ball was a successful media blowout.

Which brings me to my point about Gran Turismo 5.

You want screengrabs of new cars? We get them. You want high res videos? We get them. Are you happy?

Of course Not!

And this is why some of you people are sad. You want Christmas to come, but then also want to open the presents early.

E3 is just six weeks off. We've waited way longer. Just get a grip. I mean, really, some of you...

Oh, and as for this:

If only Polyphony Digital would be a bit more like Microsoft...

[ YOUTUBE]Louie Louie Louie Louiieee...[ /YOUTUBE]

Oh no, no... HELL no!

Hopefully this counts as general discussion, I was watching YouTube video's looking at Nascar crashes and flags and safety cars, just wondering how it might be in GT5, and stumbled across this:

Could this be the most bizarre reason for a red flag ever?
I guess it might be what happens if there is some kind of Last Guardian / GT5 tie in...

I predict a release date this December like GT2.
Are you going to delete this? What language is allowed here.

How about Saab? Much more interesting to me than Koenigsegg ( I am serious).

saab.jpg

Second that, Saab has a much deeper car history than Koenigsegg. They won in big rally-events and has a big collection of cars... The first generation 9000 has a world record on Talladega for exemple.

And yes my alias has to do with Saab hehe, more exactly 9-5 Aero series one from 2000 hehe. Sorry my English

In conclusion, it's about representing countries/regions properly.

Saab should be in because of the aforementioned notion of properly representing a region.

I'm not talking about who is more influential or better. Rather, the mere idea of appropriately adding cars to the game based on a worldly point of view. And Koenigsegg would be in this worldly view for reasons beyond its incredible speed.:)

Again, take one look at Sweden in GT4 and it will induce sickness. One manufacturer and only one car.

Unsatisfactory (but that leaves room for progress as a series).

Sorry but it's two cas both S60 T5 Sport and the boring 240 GLT Estate (or as we says in Sweden Herrgårdsvagn) hehe. Volvo 240 Turbo sedan is more funny to drive with the 155hp turboengine.

*Edit - Famine was first on that point Sorry*

yeah and as long as im giving the man himself a compliment, Kazunori Yamauchi i shouldn't have a problem.

That's not part of the Acceptable Use Policy. I note that your shift key works for capitalising a proper noun, but yet doesn't for "I" and at the start of a sentence. This is part of the Acceptable Use Policy.

You seem unfamiliar with the AUP despite agreeing to it and its presence on the bottom of every page on this site, and I've given you some leeway thus far. Reread it. Understand it. Move on, as a better person. This thread is about GT5 and news related to it, not a discussion of this site's policies and your understanding of them.

That is a beauty, although I prefer the ES shooting brake version, and I know Volvo are perhaps not the most exciting cars ever produced, they did produce one of the coolest BTCC racers ever in my opinion.:)

And even a 240 can be quite fast.........

Wow nice except it looks like a barge lol.
I hope PD put more classic touring cars in from BTCC, ATCC, the old DTM and so on.

Yeah I hope they get some classic BTCC Cars in there too, but I doubt they will.

I would love the Sierra RS500.

It's sad the BTCC is such a shadow of what it used to be, I was watching a re run of the race where Steve Soper came through the whole field in his Listerine BMW and had the most god almightly tussle with John Mclennan in his Calavlier GSI 2000. Both ended up crashing out.

That was some of the best racing I have seen in my life.

I know it was mentioned earlier but does having the NASCAR and WRC etc..entitle them to the tracks aswell?

I'm just wondering if were mainly just going to get the cars and a couple of token tracks like Daytona to race them on?

i didn't see it . You made my day ! What an intense race.. Watching any other race compared to that is like watchin chess game

I remember the days when the BTCC was that intense, not all the time, but most races had it's battles and sometimes the driving got very agressive. I used to love watching it, I don't really watch any motorsport these days, maybe on the odd occasion I'll watch a race if I'm not doing anything else and it's on bt I'm not too bothered tbh.

Yeah, same here - I used to watch BTCC religiously as well as F1, but I rarely follow either of those disciplines now.

Ouch. :ouch:

I'll watch two kids racing tricycles if it competitive. And even if it's not as long as at least one of the tryc's has a cool paint job. :sly:

Yes, it's two cars (but only one in the main dealership under Sweden). But hopefully you are not missing the true point of the post. It's about the lack of Swedish cars and the fact that there's room to GT5 to better represent said nation with Saab and Koenigsegg.
