Still doesn't sound right. And no, in my opinion, it's not "closer than GT5" - it's equally distant, but for different reasons.

Watching that video gave me distinct flashbacks to Ridge Racer, early Burnout games amongst others (Ultimate Race Pro, anybody?) - I think it's the flow of the circuit. It's not a bad thing, but I see the vibe now - I thought it was supposed to be a sim? Whatever, I'm sure it's good fun - I'm just less eager to try it out now.

When I play the TT and GT5 Prologue demo I have to turn my surround sound as loud as real car would be.. it sounds good, but not as real life, PD has to get that GROWN tone correct. Screw 3D trees, sound is more important!

I am not sure but I think that new Viper video actually shows improved shifting mechanism by the driver just watch from 4:28 till the end.

I still don´t see any stats in the new GT5 Demo or any demo... I wan´t to know the time between the car in front and in back of me, not only the time to #1 car...

Also I wan´t to know my top speed on the actual race and also the other cars...

Why don´t we get any info who made the fastest lap in the race, not only in the stats after the race...

This things are more important then move,3D or 1000 cars...

In the time between GT4 and GT5 we've gotten: 3 Forza games, 7 Need For Speed games, 4 Burnout games, 5+ generic, monosyllabic racing games (Blur, Dirt, Fuel, Grid, Pure, etc.) ...and now 2 Test Drive Unlimited games!

I think it's implying while GT5 has taken a very long time to create, it can't be replaced by over 20 other racing games. GT5 is GT5 and we love the heart and soul of their work they put into making the game as best as it can be.

If PD was in charge of Codemasters operations, Fuel, Dirt, Grid, Blur, would all be in one masterminded game. Meanwhile they're selling 4 different games, we're getting everything in one package
