Does anyone know what this game will be from "Eutechnyx secret game" it's supposed to rival the gt series.

sorry if link will not work. It was working a few weeks ago but it hasn't been updated and I haven't heard anything lately.
Oh , I remeber that.. good question, the magazine was out about a month or two ago, I think it was BLUR or some other ARCADE racer... nothing to worry about. Altho I would love to see another Competitor like Enthusia.
Does blur have tire wear and pit stops? Because that is one of the things that they said this top secret game was going to have.
Did some searching around and found this. Has anyone heard of this?

This might be the game they are planning "planned" on telling us about.

👍 Now everybody sing along: "it's fun to stay at the fu-ji-speed-way".
Ammm..the whole point was to get a look and feel of the game before it's released and to inform its biggest fans(forum members) about it!💡It would be awesome. But I'd post it after GT5's unveiling. And I'd also write a post about it in a more lucid manner.
Yes there is. You should get the game on PC, where there is this HC mode which is unlockable basically when you finish the game in normal mode(which is PGR-ish I guess). HC mode is supposed to be a sim mode, and while it has some flaws(it was added as a bonus only on PC version as far as I know), it nails down fundamental physics and handling relatively well. It's not LFS, but it is realistic and you can have lot's of fun driving either precisely or drifting around like a crazy monkey(my choice oftenIs there a valid reason I should?
I don't like Burnout or PGR either, and I don't buy racing games to listen to engine sounds. I'm also thinking most racing happens on tracks without traffic, and I'd rather keep it that way. I have ModNation Racers when I want to avoid obstacles.
I suppose driving around a virtual Hawaii that looked markedly better than TDU1 would be kind of neat. A racing MMO on an island paradise would be interesting, especially if there were a few ladies playing. But I'd have to try it, and I have too many games I actually want to play in my stack right now to plunk down cash on a game I might hate as much as PGR.
Well, there's nothing critically off with Gran Turismo, we're talking about refinement here. As big a fan of GT as I am, I can still see all the areas in GT that need refinement. Basically, the only thing I would not touch as it's so good that it doesn't really need to be any better is the cars themselves(modeling), that's always been a GT's strong point, BUT IMO, physics need fine tuning, AI and sound need complete overhaul, track detailing is all over the place, some details are great, some are PS1 material(also they should work on livening the track surroundings with any kind of motion and happening), greater car customization would be nice, more on-line options, missing effects like skidmarks and so on...You've been on the forum and know the critique by now, most probably, so I don't want to repeat it all...The point is, every game needs more refinement, including GT5.(but sadly, for some of those things, we'll probably have to wait a few more years, until GT6...)So what's so critically off with Gran Turismo that has to be changed? The sound? Sorry, but as I said before, I don't buy racing games based on the sound, or I'd be fondling PGR right now, and maybe Forza. Handling? The TT demo puts GT5 in league with some of the best racing sims. Refinement? Prologue has the best modeled cars in gaming, some of the best handling, amazing replays that can easily fool people into thinking it's real life racing footage. And it's two or three years old. Just sayin'.
Haha, very good! I have to say though, I preferred the original MFJ logo that did the rounds here previously - looked more balanced and in proportion.![]()

He knows what he's doing and compared to most of us is a fantastic driver. But in the company of other racing drivers he doesn't stand out as anyone special, just competent. He knows what he's doing. Fantastic driver. Just makes it look so easy.
In my opinion, Kaz's new hobby is going to be a very positive influence on the series. He has gone from a "car lover" to a "part time racer".
It makes me very excited to see what he has in store for us as the years go by.👍
Like I said, he's competent, as in he can hold is own. I just meant that he doesn't stand out as a particularly special driver in the company of racing drivers. Some people amusingly talk about him like he's up there with the Senna's, Makkinen's and Stewarts of the racing world simply because he's Kazunori Yamauchi. He's competent but far from those people. I'm just being the Yang to the YingI don't know about that. His performance and lap times are surprisingly competitive. But if you mean he's not the best driver in the world, that's a pretty rare mark.![]()
