^ That HPD/Acura on the top spot in the P2-class in Le Mans!!! Pretty impressive for HPD/Acura on foreign soil, to me that is amazing in my book. :)
 
Sorry, I'm not considerate enough to post a picture that isn't to your liking in size. If there were an option to re-size the picture I'd use it, but I didn't see one so I posted it full size, if you don't like it, oh well!

For some reason I don't think this would go over well with the mods. However, imageshack.us would gladly resize your image

The full size image was also posted over on the correct "Le mans" thread, where I also commented on the size of it and asked either for a simple link, or to have the three cars that matter to be cut out and posted. For some reason, either my PC or my internet at the time, the page took ages to load, and besides, it puts the forum all out of proportion, resulting in masses of side-scrolling.

It was gtone339 who spotted it, although this does bode well for a release date to arrive quickly ( or at least an announcement ).
Why else would they start promoting GT5 right now by sponsoring one of the big teams at possibly the biggest annual racing event only to announce we have to wait many more months?
Wishful thinking perhaps, but still, E3 will hopefully answer that question soon. :)
 
This certainly is a great sign (quite literally).

Analog, you've got a great point there about waiting many more months. Perhaps we're in for a July release? E3 will hopefully tell.

I'm no marketing or advertising expert, but this sponsorship deal must have cost them a fortune, why waste such money when a better opportunity would be to start advertising when GT5 will release later this year.
July or August might make more sense to launch it after such exposure ( to possibly millions of petrolheads around the world ) than just creating a huge buzz and waste the opportunity you paid for.
But that's just my logic, maybe that's why I'm not in marketing or advertising. :)

Although that's winter in my case - I sure hope you're right. Just the thought makes me ever so excited.

Plus the new GT5 build of Lemans at Lemans, which we'll hopefully get some videos of from mimaxima.
 
Hoping for the best is good. Mind-blowing news will be good. However, I would say, preparing for the worst is also good - E3 may disappoint many GT lovers.
 
NEW VIDEO: Look carefully at the top left hand corner of the screen when he gets to the menu. It's says "course", not location.


EDIT: It also appears to be a different time of day compared to previous Nurburgring videos.
