I have noted the comments and feeling of disappointment with standard/premium cars, 5 year wait, boo hoo, etc. So i will share with you three simple steps to avoid a pessimistic view of GT5:
1. Forget GT4 was ever made
2. Play GT3 from the beginning, with the wheel if possible. It only has 200 cars with no cockpits, and a limited track selection.
3. By November GT5 will seem such an amazing revolution that you would never complain.
Over the past few months I have been playing GT3 from scratch because i never 100%'ed it the first time round - and playing with the wheel adds so much, even without cockpit views. Even tho i am wetting myself in anticipation waiting for GT5 for the past few years (particularly this month), the old games have enough replay value to keep me busy.
GT3 was the reason i bought a PS2, likewise GT5 is the reason i will have a PS3 by November. It will seem out of this world to me! I'm looking forward to the beautiful cars and tracks, day/night transition, damage, and the online play with DLC

If i forget about GT4, then even the photomode will seem new
Paulturismo what wheel did you use and do you get force feedback.
Cheers mate.
PS. The wheel i currently use is the Logitech Driving Force Pro. I will probably get the Logitech G27 one day because that has the neat addition of a clutch pedal and H-pattern shift box.
