The video shows the car selection screen where each car is labeled "Premium." There were too many cars in the demo for any one person to have been able to show each of them from their cockpit view.

I just cant believe still that the Sony Press Conference last week, they revealed to us GT5 as the last game, They really did save the best for last, which means one thing:

just checked out the GT site and the 7 page info sheet has two different dates between the Japanese site and the US site. The US site says it was posted on 6/16/10 and the Japanese site says 6/18/10. Was the Japanese site updated? If so, what did they change?

Sorry man we have many drama queens on GTP i saw those videos in hi def and those standard cars look fine. @ Chepu how does that picture mean no cockpits?

So this game became like a woman eh? Date her for the looks not character?

I know it's disappointing about the standard cars, but knowing us, we're gonna be driving the premium cars majority of the time and the standards cars are an afterthought.

@JDMKing: No need to apologize man, it's understandable where the complaints come from after all these years.

And the GT5 car looks A LOT better than the GT4 version. Besides, and I've mentioned this before, I believe PD has a database of all the cars they've ever have put in a game (and some they haven't probably). I mean, look at the Viper GTS. That car hasn't changed much since GT2. Same colors are even available for it in both GT2, 3 and 4. Makes sense that the GTS got the same treatment the "Standard" cars are getting in GT5. And yet, no one complained about it then.

Just read the news about the track editor. Weather was to be expected, but carting, stunt arenas and track editing just sound too good to true. Mind boggling! If they next tell there is gonna be snow storms during WRC, I will just go crazy. Noo... this is too much for me to believe and understand.

Well, by that Picture you can clearly see that the car models havent been Upgraded, not even the Textures, so how come they had modeled some kind of cockpit for it and let everything else just the same as like 5 Years ago ( GT4 Time Graphics)

And its not about being a Drama queen about graphics, its about inconsistent Races between cars in the Graphical extent.

After watching the standard cars video (which I conventiently downloaded before it was removed ), I noticed at one point of the video that the windows weren't tinted, you could see right through them. Here is some of the noticeable ones:

-The Muscle cars at Indy all had windows you could see through, just slightly not as easily as the Premium ones.

-The Bentley Speed 8 at SSR11 also had a window that clearly could be see-through.

-The Corvette C5-R clearly has a driver inside with the same Chevy helmet as we've seen on GT5P.

-The Renault Maxi Turbo and Peugeot 205 both showed drivers and even part of the roll bar.

I don't know what pictures you were looking at, but I can tell the difference between the two cars graphically. the GT5 car CLEARLY has better textures and a smoother finish. Look at the wheel blur. the GT5 car you can't tell much from the rotation of the wheel, but you can see the individual spokes in the GT4 car. Maybe you need some glasses, dude.
