I guess Sony has begun advertising on mainstream magazines.
This was on the back of my Entertainment Weekly.
16 cars on track on a street circuit at night. *Sigh of relief*

Thanks for posting that MrBlueSky, SSR5 looking bloody gorgeous I must say and splendid to see 16 cars running at night. *breathes sighs of relief with Sam* Now I just hope SSR5 has daytime too
And yeah the arrows on the track map don't match the image. To me it looks like the SLSes are about to enter the tunnel and final turn on SSR5 reverse, whereas the map shows them entering from the other side. Obviously the art director has just juggled it about.
Could be a version of the rotating map. I seem to remember Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 having a 3D rotating map that was all zoomed in on the section, or you had the 2D rotating map that showed the full course.
I could be wrong, (only operating on a few hours of sleep), but regardless of rotation, the map is still showing the tunnel as a left hand turn (as it should be for SSR5 in forward direction) Look at the arrows representing the cars on the map. It shows them quite clearly entering a tunnel that curves left.
What appears to be flipped horizontally is the road / tunell itself, which is clearly a right hand turn. Yet it's not as if the image itself was flipped, as the characters on the sign still appear correctly. Odd, thats all.
Interresting those signs appear as if they're in Latin.
We have seen the rotating map in all the demo vids, but it only showed what section of the track you were on. Although its still the same configuration as SSR5, so maybe a different perspective maybe.

As a graphic designer myself, I can verify that this kind of thing happens in advertising all the time.
It is an older build, it said "filmed at the GT Academy NZ" at the end.New to me. Poor image quality, but still footage. Seems like an older build though, it doesn't have the nice "thud" sound that you hear in the newer ones when they crash.
I thought the DFGT was the only wheel allowed for GT AcademyIt is an older build, it said "filmed at the GT Academy NZ" at the end.
The image is turned 180*. The tunnel first turns right as the picture shows and then does a left turn. That's what it looks like to me.
Ummm maybe the 16 player bit is shopped too then!!!!
Drifters and rally drivers do it all the time. I also do it every time I drive my real car, when leaving a paking lot and stuff like that.
They should simply make it an option. The cars that support 900 degree steering in real life should do it in the game as well.
Always bugs me that people on here really want PD not to improve the game. Why is that, really?
Wow, that's awesome stuff Lucas! 18th to 5th is simply amazing.
Sounds like poetry:
I will come because he has nodded (maybe supposed to be called me)
I will open up with pleasure because he has been waited for.
or something like that
Veniam : to approach; to come to.
Nuito : ???, night? as in Nuit, noche? couldnt find anything.
Aperiam : to expose, plain (as in "omnia sic aperiam" i'll make all so plain.)
Excopt(eor\eur??)
Voluplate : to be taken; to be captivated by pleasure
