In this vid. I found a strange thing. Look at the right part of hud on the game screen. We have some dislocation ( I compare with GT5p) and some empty space. Why? Maybe in full game we will see somthing like an indicator of damage? Or maybe it's for some message window, like: you lost weel, return to pit)))
Sorry my English.

It seems PD get the inspiration for AI names from either boy band or gay porn :)

What's wrong with John, Michael, Jenson or something that real drivers have. Jayden is so wrong (sorry if anyone is unfortunate enough to be given that name by their parents).

It would be better if you could name your AI, like in LFS.

LOL @ "Jayden"

Not that I'm complaining... but it seems to me that comic-con is less about actual comics every year and more about... just about everything else

As I'm not very knowledgeable on both subjects you've mentioned, I wouldn't automatically have made that association or connection myself, but thanks for sharing your expertise which does indeed make an interesting theory I suppose, albeit a rather far-fetched one in my opinion.;)

To put it nicely. I'd get banned for saying what I think of his post.

hey, i wanted to ask if some is interested in a thread like "100 days till GT5-How will you prepare for this game?" It should be a thread were everyone can talk about his personal countdown and his old stories from gt4 and what you did before the game comes out.

And i wanted to know if someone with a good english knowledge can open the thread for me. ;D thx

Does noone saw my question? :grumpy:

I can provide you links to some really great... oh well.

The news on the front page that head-tracking ain't so hot worries me although for all I know the guy from the Official Playstation Magazine probably wasn't sitting in the sweet spot(s) to have the it working properly. It isn't so much an issue with TrackIR due to the reflective dot placed on your head but PSEye have a different calibration system which I'm sure it's more selective.

As I like to drive in a slightly to completely dark environment- it's more immersive to me- I'm worried that it may not work at all. Unless I stay out of the sun all summer or use some clown paint on my face, I may not be able to play in the dark. Of course one idea is to somehow place the Move controller on my head. Or something that lights up but smaller.

I saw your post but if you look in the GT5 forum you'll see few threads already implying the same- "what would you do first when you get GT5", "how would you deal with the wait for GT5", "what are you using to play GT5", "what will you hate about GT5" etc. If you spend enough time posting in these threads, it would give a concise idea of what you'll be doing in the next 100 days leading the game's release :)

apparently the Mclaren F1 will be "hidden in the game" ...like an easter egg! -->

0:37 - 0:42 = Hot lady with epic legs

I estimate the draft in Gran Turismo to be at times 10x stronger then real life going off of my experience of watching many high speed oval racing series

I don't know, I wouldn't make such a prediction especially since according to one of the GT Academy participants, the Draft was actually improved and more realistic. Of course I would be willing to be that its adjustable.

Unless you pre-order from gamestop, then you get it from the start.
I was also thinking it'll be unlocked for completing a certain % of the game or like you said ALL GOLDs which would piss tons of people off.

That would be the special Tuned version with the Carbon Fibre Livery similar to the Tuned AMG SLS pre-order car. The Regular road car is what will be an easter egg, which is good as it'll actually reward working hard to get it and not through some cheap get-alot-of-money trick. Also, Its the #20 Gamestop Toyota that you'll get when you pre-order from Gamestop:sly:

Really? Thought you got it with the SLS when you pre-ordered from Best buy.
Considering you don't get an SLS with Best Buy...

The F1 is iconic. Not the P.O.S. stealth McLaren from Gamestop. Obtaining the McLaren from Gamestop is as easy as breathing.

It's as simple as that. And it will be more evident when you're online and you're one of the few who have actually earned the iconic F1.

I'm pretty late with this, and also I'm what could be described as a "NASCAR Noob". However, in the "Night Racing Trailer" from a while back the cars had full wings on the back, whereas, in recent trailers the cars are seen with flick or lip spoilers (sure there is a real name). Has there been a change in regulations or similar? Thanks :)
