the black GT LM isn't from GT4. The black one, is the TEST CAR, if you can't read the words above it. and the white one in GT4 was the actual GT LM Edition Spec II. I'm sure both versions will appear in GT5, but there IS a difference between them.
 
Maybe the lighting will fix these cars, and I have confidence that this is the issue. but from the pictures we have, I think its the matte finish thats making these cars look like crap. The livery itself is fine, but for example, Imagine the F1 being (Glossier) white, than the black- I don't think it would look too bad. but even A nice gloss black (Instead of the matte) could really fix it..

Lets hope the lighting will fix it.

Oh, whatever then.. But isn't it painted over or something? Think I need a bigger picture to look at...

Edit: Zooming in as best as I can, it definitely seems its painted over in a matte black finish.. Even if its supposedly made out of carbon fiber..

I can pretty easily see the carbon fiber....it may be resolution differences between everyone's computers.

Some cars look better in the liveries than others, so I can't say one way or another. I'm not pre-ordering the game anyways, especially for just liveries, so my opinion doesn't matter much. :)
 
Well i guess i am in the minority here. I happen to like the way the stealth cars look. That aside. I just wish ppl would stop complaining about something that has not even been released yet. If some one is not happy about having 200 plus premium cars or the so called driver cockpit view debate ( which i still think all cars will have a drive out the windshield driving view). No one is making anybody buy or pre-order this game. So if you don't like it don't buy it that simple. This is not pointed at any one person and maybe it does not belong in this thread. Just my little rant about all the complaining going on.

I think the race with the lambo was fixed. Just listen to the revs from inside the SLS, its clearly idle-ing until after the lambo passes. Maybe the driver is crap, had lots of TC, or launch control, or had something against the SLS. Whatever it is it doesn't stack up with me. Fixed

that's because its a rolling start and the SLS driver hasn't got a perfect responsetime.
 
and the second Link was a battle vs. Audi R8 V10 vs. SLS and Audi R8 is an half Gallardo, but the SLS clearly dominated the R8 but had (with tc or bad reaction time) no chance vs the Gallardo ..

Just came back off holiday and watched the e3 trailer again off someones youtube and in description it mentions rest of the world's release date is confirmed for october. I don't believe this is true but he has a few of videos from e3 so can anyone comfirm this for me? cheers.

Well it's wrong because the American release date is Nov 2nd, so how can a worldwide release be before that date? lol
 
Less than 100 days til the release of GT5!? What in the holy hell!? That has gone quick as. Think about it this way.. three months is 90 days (roughly).. So it's around about 3 months til we can play Gran Turismo 5. I remember when it was only half way through the development process and how we were all whinging and whining about how there's no release date etc. Less than 100 days.. far out.
 
When GT5 arrives, I wanna take a spin 'round the Top Gear track in a "reasonably priced car". Which car in GT5 do you think would be a good choice? I'm asking because I seriously doubt the Lacetti, Liana and the Cee'd will be included lol. :)
 
yeah, its a little wonder that gt5 got a release date

but 100 days are a lot, 2400 hours....
today i drove a few personal best times and i cant wait until ive gt5 in my hands, ;D

if you´ve luck the Ford Ka is included ;D just a pure sportscar :indiff:

i hope for a good soundtrack in gt5 with artists like Feeder,

Of course they will. It Topgear they included, not just the track. We saw the stig, so i'm sure we will get the reasonably priced car too 👍

Yamauchi promised "Top Gear" would be included, not merely the track. The Stig was featured in the E3 2010 trailer, so we'll almost inevitably see the Cee'd too.

On a side note, keep in mind that the AUP doesn't permit you to use "txt spk" in your messages, including the acronym "lol."
