GT5 Master Car List

No, definitely serious.
.
you're too ruthless :D.....

Yeah, I know. First they bring out the game here 5 hours ahead of anywhere else (and 12 hours ahead of Japan), then they force us all to buy it, then we get the same 1,031 cars as everyone else. What a gyp.

And the SE that nobody gets. It's all a sham.

But we have a 60's mustang in the game already. I'm not talking about any of the in-game cars. There's a few supercars but there's no passion or anything like to them, in my eyes.

USA has the most classic , remebering-worth cars I can think of.
BTW that Bullitt mustang drawing is cool.

I don't see how anyone can say a 'tuned car' is a 'race modified' car. Some performance parts and a bit of tuning isn't a race car. The ACR isn't a race car either. It's technically a street car, even if the name is club racer. Of course it's not very streetable compared to a Honda Civic, but it's not just a track car. It's nowhere near what Race Cars are either. Race Modified cars aren't what tuned cars are. Is the Capucino (spelling) a race modified car? That TVR isn't either. That's a 'tuned car' not a 'race modified' car.

no aston martin one-77???

Correct.

& no Mercedez-benz Blackseries??

Also correct.

btw why didnt they add newer cars like the ones made in 09-10????

You'd need to ask Polyphony. However I can say, with 100% confidence, that PD have included every single car in GT5 they wanted to include and had licences to include and had access to a real example to model and had the time to model. If it's not in then they either didn't want it (or know of it to want it) or didn't get a licence or didn't have access to one or didn't have time to model one or any combination of the above. For some reason people always settle on the first reason as being the only reason.

According to this:

http://eu.gran-turismo.com/local/gb/data1/products/gt5/carlist_en.html

Car 618 Lancer Evo IX GSR '05 is standard

Car 619 Lancer Evo IX GSR RM '05 is Premium

Therefore this car must be the premium RM even though it doesn't say RM in the car title

This car was amongst the Concept by GT Tuner cars in GT5P

Looks like you've found another error in the list, the Japanese list has the stock one as premium too.

619 P Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR '05
620 P Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR RM '05

The numbers are shifted down because the EX 1800GSR IC Turbo '83 Mitsubishi Lancer is earlier on in the Japanese list for some reason.

Yes I've just seen that myself. In the Japanese list the EX 1800 GSR IC Turbo '83 in on row 603 of a spreadsheet I've put the lists on and the UK version it is on row 625.

One thing I don't like is that there's like 50 mx-5's and skylines but there's only 7 Lamborghini's and one Bugatti which isn't even premium but then again, you can't complain with 1036 cars.

It was probably already said (sorry if it is the case)

Why did they choose cars witch aren't in GT5 to made their official ad. :dunce:: (these cars are on focus, not background)
http://fr.playstation.com/ps3/games/detail/item240998/Gran-Turismo®-5/

For the xx time their is cars like gordini R8, 205 GTI (non Turbo) and many other witch are not in GT5 car list...their is 1000+ cars in the official car list, why did they show these cars (with focus on it)

I hope this is "cars they love" and they will work on them for DLC

Hopefully GT6 will have all premium cars.......

I am happy that the game is coming out next week, but for 6 years they only have 200 or so premium cars. It just seems like they could have made all the cars premium with the time it took.

no lambo REVENTON?-SSC ULTIMATE AERO TT?-TVR SPEED 12?
all these are on FORZA3.
im hoping they will become available as D.L.C.

Not to mention the lack of Australian tracks (Bathurst most notably). I spoke to a guy who met Kaz at TGS and he asked if he was going to include more Australian content but he said that it (bathurst) was not well known enough in Japan and the rest of the world but that he was fully aware of it and would like to attend some day.

This is promising because it will only take one visit to convince him to include it in GT6 (or even as DLC) 👍

Edit: I refer to V8 Supercars and other Australian cars as well as the track (just to keep it related to the original post). With V8 Supercars recently being names as an internation FIA series, I think it is realistic that we might see it in the future

When we speak of what fan car know or not, the standard can't be Japan or Japanese, especially Yama San; Bathurst it's famous for all race car fan, in all the world and Holden too; it's just a little strange what Yama have said, but it's only another, of a lot of others, strange thing said from him. Keep hoping for a better car list in the future. Mirko

The more I look at the car list the more cars I see aren't in it and the more damn annoyed I get. I mean, I just noticed another one. The Corvette C6R. Why in the name of sanity is the Corvette C6R not in it? Now, I'm by no means a Vette fan but to not have the C6R is quite ridiculous.

As above, so below.

Technically the C6R is in...you just have to racing modified the C6 Corvette.

👍 that would technically be the C6R-GT2, and we have the old 2000/1 C5R-GT1, so we might be able to make a C6R-GT1 with heavy modifications..
heres hoping (insert midweek motorsports sound byte) for a throaty sounding R series of new corvettes. I still assume the standard C5-R will sound like a turbo-4 buzzing. :nervous:
