GT5 Master Car List

No Australian Muscle 👎.... Only 2 cars from a whole country is pretty sad

I agree whole heartedly!
I put this down to a couple of reasons (speculating here by the way).
GT5 is designed more as a game structure that can be built upon (think GT6), so in order to get the game out as it has taken too long already, they went with mostly the GT4 cars (possibly because they already had the licences for these).

As there really hasnt been a whole lot of "new" cars added to the car list, I can only assume
A. these wont come till GT6
B. DLC

As to why FPV dropped off the list I can only assume that PD's licence was time based and ran out, or (and im wildly clutching at straws here) the new FG based cars will come as DLC.
Think the new GT with the supercharged coyote 5.0... oh dear lord:drool:

Thats what I keep telling myself anyways.

Here's what I don't get. If they have this big collaberation with Red Bull and Adrian Newey, I mean, close enough to create a car together, why the heck didn't they include the RB6? I mean, the F10 is in there, AND the F2007. And they don't have some super special relationship with Ferrari.

There are TWO (2) race modified C6 vettes. The #127. P Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) RM ‘06 and the # 130. # P Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) RM ‘09

The Z06 '06 was the GT1 version in real life, and the ZR1 '09-current was the GTE(2) version currently being used in ALMS

YES!!!
That made my day.

Yeah, I'm hoping there's a difference, but maybe Kaz is making it reverse, seeing as how the ZR1 is more powerful in real life, maybe the ZR1 race mod car is the GT1 equivalent and the Z06 is the GT2 version. I don't think Kaz would make it so that the race upgrade version of the ZR1 loses power like GT2 currently has it. They use the ZR1 body in GT2 racing currently. The Z06 body was GT1.

Wait a tick, I just realized something... technically, there's as many Canadian cars in the game as Australian!

God knows how many Credits i'm going to need to get that lot :dopey:
Thats of course if there all Available to Buy :dunce:

167 cars isn't a lot? How many cars do you have in your garage?

Well my garage isnt a videogame, and my wallet doesnt have 'credits' in it!
However, because you asked so nicely, at the moment in the carport are -

A. 2008 Toyota Landcruiser LC200 GXL (twin turbo V8 Diesel booyeah)
B. 2007 Suzuki Swift
C. 2008 Holden Commodore SS
D. 1998 Ford Falcon XR8 Series II

Back on topic however, my point is that this game is released in 2010 almost 2011 and how many cars from 2010 are in it, even 2009?
So no, for a game that has 1031 cars, 167 "new" ones isnt a lot.

My PERSONAL opinion is that I would rather have had say 400 - 500 cars that represented a move forward from GT4. I dont think that the series has regressed rather (on this topic) is static.

That's my first thread here, hello everybody!
Fantastic work by Fido, congratulations!!!

By the way, I see I'm not driving my real car: my Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde's not in the game... :(

now i see there´s no more wheel brands like in GT4

that´s sad.
:dunce:

If you look closely at that video you'll notice the brand names of the wheels are shown when the wheel appears, the brand names are still there, it's just not categorized by brand anymore apparantly.

Wondering why there are no stealth/chromeline cars there?

Hhahaha i love your signature after the post that you have...pure genius xD

I will try add you to my list on PSN...mentalitys like yours are much apreciated in my book.

Sry for geting offtopic....The YT vids of the GT maintainence are soooo cool i was like 2cm from my TV screen while that was playing @_@ GT2's Race Modification is BACK !!! YAAAAAAAY *jumps up and exits house to yell out on the balcony "RM is back you Italian MoFos"*:dunce:

I hope that wasen't to much mister moderator dude ! O_o i is like "ubereccitedtz"
i will so play this game in 2056 when the real relese will be.....:sly:

Asides from the Ferraris and the X1, are there any other single seaters in the game?
Going to take a shot in the dark that all NASCAR vehicles will be single seaters.

Unless they will be doing the old ESPN NASCAR Ride-Along program from the 90s.

I would've liked to see the same amount of European cars as they are Japanese cars because theirs a lot of nice BMW, Audi, and Mercedes that are not in this game:tdown:. I still do like the massive amount of Japanese cars though:tup:

Single seater's/open wheeler's he means more like Formula cars or Sprint cars... ;)

Gosh, that could take some time!!! Maybe needing at least 100mill to buy all?

So, judging between, Amar, RDk and some of the other copies of GT that have leaed out, it seems to be pretty apparent that there will be a launch day update to open and unlock some features in GT5. So for the people that don't have internet, you guys should probably find some. Cuz what the reality is looking like, may not be too kind.

Gosh, that could take some time!!! Maybe needing at least 100mill to buy all?

100million would be solely for the Ferrari's. It'd probably be closer to 200-300million for all the premium cars. And probably a couple billion for all 1031 cars.
