GT5 Master Car List

Are the Aussie Ford (FPV) GT and F6 in GT5. They are on the psp, but i can't find FPV or the two cars on any official GT5 list?

Sadly it looks like FPV have been cut from the game.

11 GT4 Cars not in GT5
Audi Auto Union V16 Type C Streamliner
Daihatsu Midget
Ford Model T Tourer
FPV F6 Typhoon
FPV GT
Hyundai Accent Rally Car
Mercedes-Benz Benz Patent Motor Wagen
Mercedes-Benz Daimler Motor Carriage
Nike One
Toyota ESSO Ultraflow Supra (JGTC)
Toyota Motor Triathlon Race Car

Edit: Credit Car-less for the list.

I can see the two daimler's out and the model T and the fake cars.. but I will miss the midget, FPV's, Rally car and the JGTC car.... maybe that is because there is a new ESSO ultraflow Lexus in the game.. I am not sure...
here is to hoping this is a mistake in translation for now.... I want those Aussies back in there.... some of the better paintjobs in the game were on those fords...

i have recently seen a list of cars in GT5. im not sure if its official, but i hope its not. according to the list, theres 4 versions of the Volkswagen Lupo in the game. however, theres no Scirocco!!! i have a 2010 white Scirocco TSI and i really wanted to drive it in GT5. i never could have imagined that it would not be in the game. how can they have 4 versions of the Lupo, and not the Scirocco which is a relatively new car. if i find out officially that the Scirocco is not in the game, i WONT BUY GT5!

PS: i found this video where Kaz Yamauchi is looking at a white tuned scirocco. some people say there will only be tuned sciroccos in the game but not the standard one.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! That just sucks. Why do the Holdens get to stay? At least i will still have the V8 Supercar. It is such a shame that after all this time of development, they couldn't include any new models as well if not instead. Fingers crossed until they almost break, that in the future we may see newer models of at least a few of the companies as down loadable content.

Maybe i'm wrong, but is it possible that there are people that really want to drive the car that already have in real life? I was always thinking that GT series is the opportunity to drive something quite impossible to drive in real life, for a lot of reason (money, opportunity, driving skills, etc); so, i guess, that is the reason for so much complaining about of lack of such meaningless cars; of course every one have the right to think what he (or her) want, but it's seems really get over the sign something like that ("have this car, i want it in GT"); already said: it's a big world of interesting car out there, i mean really sporty cars, race cars, GT cars; we only can hope that someday we can drive one of them in GT, or in some game like GT; that have to be the most important goal that Polyphony would have for it's future work; my car it's only a thing to go from point A to point B. Mirko

P.S.: I remember a Top Gear 13th season episode in which they was testing some front wheels drive cars; i don't know precisely what was the white car the Stig was drifting around (a rear wheels drive one) but it's a V8 and it had a really amazing sound; that is a very good example of what i mean of interesting car: a rear, powerfull insane, roaring car; i think we can delete almost every single front wheel drive car; they stop at 300 Hp, it's quite impossible make some power drift and get out of a corner it's compromised.

^ I agree that FF cars are pretty stupid. I don't agree that GT should be about cars we'll never drive. But hey, GT has a mix of both.

I prefer driving a virtual Miata over a virtual Ferrari, but that's just me.

Jaguar XFR, premium or standard, on here its premium, on the GT site its standard, which is right?

I guess we'll see when the game releases but IMO, it should be Premium since it's entirely new to the GT serie. And since every other car in the same situation are Premium, I imagine that the Jag is also a Premium. It's only a typo in my mind ;)

In season 13 of Top Gear, the three presenters were testing cheap rear wheel drive vehicles, to prove RWD was still relevant. The white car the Stig destroyed them with on the lap was a front-wheel drive Renaultsport Twingo.

No they don't "stop at 300hp". And no they aren't "compromised" - all other things being equal, a RWD car is better out of a corner and a FWD car is better into it. That's about it.

The first game was largely Japanese leaning but that's a given considering the source. The second game expanded on that and featured more European Cars and increasingly more North American cars. By the 4th game, tuner cars many haven't heard of like HPA started appear in the game. A substitute for Porsche appeared.

I'd say its hard to be disappointed with Ferrari and Lamborghini, two very highly desired brands and cultural icons of the automotive industry.

C'mon I was ecstatic to find MY car in the game and my SRT-4 is still in the game...

I can't complain about my own personal car being in the game its there... But all hope is not lost for some of you. DLC has been built into the game obviously and we know how long it took to make GT5, I doubt we'll see another GT game on this console.

So that means there will be updates. How often? Hard to say, but I'd say what was released to the public with the Collector's Edition will likely be available to everybody sometime soon.

Would it be reasonable for PD to charge for updates? I don't see why not. Especially if the update is very large (a couple of Gigs) and like I said the likelihood of another GT coming to a console already 4 years into its life cycle and with the rate that hardware is becoming obsolete is pretty slim.

I can't see why they can't already build on what is going to be the racing game on any platform. Just like you won't see another Forza on the current Xbox 360.

Nobody is talking about how great the game looks and this is because almost nobody has the ability to capture in HD. Its gotten easier and cheaper over the years, but its still around $150 or so to do it. The game isn't released and though I asked, the You Tube upload feature is likely not active yet.

Oh Famine give up nobody said there's much common sense laying around.

FWD is also easier to manage for most people, that's why its so popular for OEM's. Its cheaper to build and it has natural under-steer built into the design. The under-steer can largely be dialed out see Acura/Honda Interga Type R. Most people don't know what to do if a RWD got out of shape and that's mostly while there aren't many out there. Its mostly in a niche, enthusiasts market.

I saw that Top Gear Episode and I wasn't surprised either by the outcome. There are some very fun to drive, competent handling and very quick FWD cars available and most are very affordable. To the unwashed masses this is easy entry into the enthusiasts market.

Even with GT5 released the day before Thanksgiving and people are going to complain anyway... Human Nature.

Oh i just want the 10.000RPM AE85 the Shinego version...

And i was dreaming of doing some drifting on SSR11 but i guess i'll be doing that on SSR5 or that new SSR7 witch looks like a Japanese Dangan (highway) actualy...O_o interesting for some 240Z fan that whants to bring back that Midnight Dangan thing xD

P.S. on some other (Closed) thread a dude made a car wishlist that took me 20 somthing minutes to scroll AT maximum speed!!! I think all cars in the world were in that "Wishlist"More than 5000(Idk i just gueset) ....why he called it that i will never know (Closed thread whatever that means)....get a effin life mate!!!!

I like to dispel misconceptions and deliver sense where the uncommon sense is lacking.

Understeer is built into almost all road cars. In fact I'm struggling to think of any volume-produced car which doesn't preferentially understeer at first. Most people wouldn't know what wheels are driven on their car, unless it's 4WD (and even then, most people think "4WD" means "doesn't fall over in snow and rain", rather than giving any thought to which wheels are driven).

And why should they? Largely on a public road it makes absolutely no difference at all. Our primary two cars at the moment are one of each it doesn't really matter. Where the differences start to come in is when you start pushing the car to the edge - and really, at the edge, which are the driven wheels is significantly less important than the components of your suspension and the characteristics of the tyres. Push hard enough to exceed the suspension limits and the tyre limits and it becomes important - but only in the sense of which end of the car you no longer have control of...

Stick evenly matched RWD and FWD cars on a track and the one that wins is the one with the better driver.

I saw the list and I was very curious.

Dodge Charger SRT8

Is it in the game?? I see the Challenger is, but what about Charger ?

Just curious.

Thanks. Did you spot the new XJ in the Japanese ad? Just to add, if we have 908 cars in our list, there must be around 100 to find as it still clearly states on the case that there's over 1000.

Why the heck is the 89 300zx premium and not the 71 240zg. It's only the purest nissan sports car and the original Z with a different front.

Yes I did spot the XF in the We Love Cars commercial.
There are 908 cars in the list on the first post because I removed all the cars that were listed twice or more. Hence the 908 count ;)
