The Lexus LFA looks so real and it is beautiful. To bad Forza got this car also as a DLC. Cannot wait to modify this car engine.

By the way i hope this will not be the final list of premium cars and we still gonna get future DLC cars in premium like the Veyron Super sports, Honda HSV, and Lamborghini Reventon.

I don't want to compare but we also deserve some DLC love from PD just like what Forza 3 does.

^ I agree that FF cars are pretty stupid. I don't agree that GT should be about cars we'll never drive. But hey, GT has a mix of both.

I prefer driving a virtual Miata over a virtual Ferrari, but that's just me.

Of course i respect every one opinion, but what's worth drive a car already owned, i mean the car i drive actually? It's true, i was not considering cars (my fault) that one day someone may want to buy or drive (Miata may be a good example); GT may be a good chance to try a future purchase, but if i have to do a choice in developing a game and i don't have endless resources, i will point my attention to something more exotic. It's only my opinion. Mirko

The thing with video games is that it allows you do experience events (albeit in limited fashion) that otherwise someone might never experience in real life. Exotic cars are always very popular in games because most people will never even get to see one, let alone drive them. I rather drive cars that I might never get to than cars I can probably buy if I wanted to.

Guys a silly question how do you pronounce RUF is it Rough(as in hard) or Ruuuf(like a dog bark)or do you pronounce each Letter Seperatley Like C.I.A?
Thanks in advance 👍

"Roof" as in "the top of a house". After the founder Alois Ruf.

(that is at least as close as you'll get speaking English)

Fido: The Axela has finally shown up in-game here:

http://www.gamekult.com/video/7929821/

Watch for it to cut across the player before the first turn. Only on screen for a short while... a bit disappointed a car new to the series is a Standard! I'll still be hunting it down to make my own Mazdaspeed3 :D

Thanks man!

I uploaded the picture of the Axela. Tomorrow I'll check up the other video to dig up some new pictures in order to add them to the car list ;)

In season 13 of Top Gear, the three presenters were testing cheap rear wheel drive vehicles, to prove RWD was still relevant. The white car the Stig destroyed them with on the lap was a front-wheel drive Renaultsport Twingo.

No they don't "stop at 300hp". And no they aren't "compromised" - all other things being equal, a RWD car is better out of a corner and a FWD car is better into it. That's about it.

*sigh*

Your words only show your preferences about cars; i was meaning that in a race game RWD are to prefer so they're preferred from almost kind of race team; FWD are cheaper? True; more simple to drive? True again; have lower cost? Yes; again, i was talking about race game, in which the only important thing is driving pleasure (for me) and performance (for me and for professional race driver) that are more relevant in RWD; try to drive a FWD with 600 Hp instead of a RWD with the same power, then tell us how it's gone; last thing: regarding the talent, that is the most important thing in driving and in determine who's the winner, at last, Micheal Schumaker may be is one of the biggest driver of all time and, may be again, he could win a race against me driving a FWD Focus RS (over 300 Hp), when i am driving a Mustang (near 600 Hp)(LOL), but nevertheless i still prefer the Mustang: it's dangerous and difficult to drive, but if i want, in a race game, only the simple situation, may be i better choose some other kind of passtime. Regarding the Top Gear episode, the car i was talking about, it's the last seen in that adventure; it was a 3 volumes, V8, RWD some kind of Vauxhall. Mirko

Fwds are superior on low speed twisty courses due to their sharp handling, good grip and low weight. Most race tracks feature high speed sections where low powered cars lose out. Since fwds cant take more than 240hp under acceleration, they are essentially useless in high tier racing.

In gt5, I suspect fwds will have an advantage in city courses in 200hp class, due to the tight turns.

Still looking for a way to get the Sleath 787B in America from a pre-order. Anyone know how? Target? Can you purchase it through Amazon UK in America?

I wonder how the stealth cars will be compared to their counterparts.

I can't complain about my own personal car being in the game its there... But all hope is not lost for some of you. DLC has been built into the game obviously and we know how long it took to make GT5, I doubt we'll see another GT game on this console.

Would it be reasonable for PD to charge for updates? I don't see why not. Especially if the update is very large (a couple of Gigs) and like I said the likelihood of another GT coming to a console already 4 years into its life cycle and with the rate that hardware is becoming obsolete is pretty slim.

I can't see why they can't already build on what is going to be the racing game on any platform. Just like you won't see another Forza on the current Xbox 360.

I think you will find that there will be at least another Forza on the 360. Both the 360 and PS3 life-cycles are expected to surpass 2015.

I don't think that was Grand Valley, maybe a shorter version of it? Anyway, I'm still going on about this 787B Stealth. Anyone getting it in pre-order that wants to trade or where to perhaps get it in the U.S. they need to hit me up!

Autumn Ring I think

Not really, no. I didn't express any preferences, only facts and your rejection of them show your preferences about cars - you refuse to accept front wheel drive has any ability at all. My current daily driver? A 5-series BMW.

A US race team ran two identical Dodge Daytonas - same body, same setup, same engine - only one was FWD and one was RWD. The cars ran laptimes to within 0.1s of each other. The difference was negligible on longer, open tracks and larger on smaller, tighter tracks.

They preferred whichever car was faster on a given track. Does that mean their words show their preferences about cars too - since their conclusion that it's tyres and suspension that's more important than drivetrain is the same as mine? Or does your stubborn refusal to accept FWD can ever work equally to (or better than) RWD show yours?

You don't even need Schumacher.

Since you're fond of citing Top Gear, how does a journalist in a 300hp Focus RS against The Stig in a 550hp Ford GT sound to you? Check out the October 2009 edition of Top Gear magazine, where The Stig couldn't outrun Tom Ford up a mountain pass.

A white, V8 Vauxhall means it's a VXR8 - which is a Holden Monaro. That episode had the supercharged Bathurst version of the car against an HSV Maloo, and the challenge was to make an advert for Volkswagen.

so apparently im a little behind... the standard cars will not have interior views? is there any word on if they might add them later? or if we might be able to download other cars in the future? that is if they add any.

Standard cars will not have interior views, no. There's been a lot of surprise about it, but Kazunori told us (literally, in person) back in August.

As for DLC, I haven't heard enough solid information to comment, but "Constant updating of car list" has appeared in a list of features published somewhere - I forget where - so no conclusions yet.
