You may be right, and hopefully you are. 👍 By the way, here is the actual excerpt.

I'm not sure If I'm happy with the time sync.
If I understand it correctly, the time you play the game is the same time as in the country the track is in?

It could mean that You'll drive some tracks at night only.
Or at day time if the track is on the other side of the world.

Because I'm at work during the day...

What makes you think that this feature will NOT be optional?
Yamauchi surely thought of busy people.
Actually GTHD (the "prototype" of GT5) was originally intended to have a gameplay suited for people who can't play for hours at time anymore.

+1

I couldn't agree more.

Anyway, I doubt they actually mean "roughly ten NASCARs". That would seem odd judging by the fact that PD have a full on NASCAR license and that Kaz promised we would get a lot of NASCAR cars.

I've got a soft spot in my heart for this track, when I first played Nascar and Indycar Racing from Papyrus, and being an European not used to ovals, that track was one of my favourites.

Good point, I was allready thinking about that.

I reacted a bit ad-hoc:dunce:

Not sure that fits, I think for Eifel/High Fens you have a choice of roads alongside wind turbines or a proper Spa style race circuit.

But then Spa and Nurburgring could each have their own nearby locations, hmm.

Don't worry it's an option.

Just a thought regarding the track creator, it's probably been mentioned at some stage by someone.

What if we had the scenario where a real circuit or rally stage is not licensed however if you input the correct paramiters in the creator you get by 'fluke' the aforementioned track/course. eg. Spa did'nt make it in to the game, but if you select High Fens, input the track length and a predetermined amount of corners/topography etc the game will create a replica of the circuit - kind of like a cheat or hidden code type thing??

^Agree. And regarding everyone's concerns about Spa, I'm truly convinced it will. In fact, these last infos we got regarding the (apparently) confirmation of weather/time sync with real track locations makes me pretty confident that all tracks mentioned on the weather/time display in GT5P will make it into the game. (Pure speculation and belief based on news)

My earlier post is just pure daydream talk, I do soncerely hope you are right. Spa is one of the greatest pieces of tarmac ever laid next to the `ring imo.

Also with the confirmation of the new weather details I am also quietly confident we will see Spa :nervous:

Nice find on the Redbull site 👍

I know it is a bit distant shot with some blur, but it looks like it is not on par with a track like Tokyo or Madrid detail-wise; similar to the returning Trial Mountain.

I hope I'm wrong though ;]

Hmmm... It looks good to me.

The shot looks like it's taken from a video rather than a photo mode pic. Too much motion blur in videos to make it look sharp
