GT5 Pre-Order Bonuses?

Yes through a PSN EU account it downloads to your HDD and creates a file in you game data folder, I don't have the game yet but from what I'm told when I boot up the game (US version) they will be instantly be in.

Good luck with that I hope it works for you. I tried downloading the "Move" patch from an EU account download worked but it didn't work in the game.
Note: The game HVB was downloaded from US PlayStation Store which might have been the problem. When the download was released on the US PlayStation Store I downloaded it and it worked. (Haven't played the game)

So you can't actually confirm it works... just that you can download the DLC. Kinda a BIG difference!

I can confirm that the DLC I got off of ebay does work! For all 6 stealth cars from the signature edition. All you need is an EU account. You can get a code here.

Because usually, DLC is made for different regions, I believe. It's made to work with certain version of the game, EU, NA, JP AU and so on.
Hope this isn't the case for those who already paid the $25 for those 11 6 cars.

Well I will find out tomorrow! In the past some DLC has worked for all regions, seems like a mixed bag, for me it was worth the risk for $20.

I don't know if this has been posted yet but...the first 50 people to buy GT5 standard from the sony store will also receive a download code for the 5 cars that come with the CE version of the game.

Sony store is opening at 10am.

The CE code worked for me today (I'm on the european psn). To my surprise the 5 chrome cars were added to my garage in GT mode, which will help me save a few credits for now
I'm a bit disappointed with the dynamic theme, though.

Same here. I don't have the game yet, so can't confirm, but the e-mail said the code was for the McLaren and the NASCAR Camry, then the download (which worked) only mentioned the Camry. "GT5 NASCAR Car" is the name of the download.

Same problem here. The gamestop employee told me to call back later, GS should send out an email or something giving a new code that gets the stuff fixed... hopefully.

Sorry if this has already asked, but does someone know if there's a pre-order bonus for GT5: Collectors Edition at U.S Amazon.com? Mine has already shipped (Still waiting for someone to bring it from L.A to where I live in South America ) but I'm not sure if all bonus cars I'll get are the Chrome Line ones. If there's no pre-order bonus in this edition/retailer, then can someone trade me his/her Audi R10 Stealth? I really, really, badly want that car! .

Same here, I'm not going to bother them today about as they are probably being pestered by everyone else. I did read that someone was told they would be e-mailed the Stealth code with in 48 hours of shipping.

I want the car for the garage but not until I actually move forward in the game.

DLC code does not work for US version, so don't make my mistake! Oh well now I basically paid $90 for the standard version with no DLC haha.

Edit: If anyone has an extra DLC code for the stealth GT-R that would be greatly appreciated since my pre-order code from BB also seems to have fell through, really screwed it this time lol

Got an email from Amazon.co.uk saying they had a delay in receiving the codes and would be sending my codes out tomorrow.

Not that it makes any difference to me because the damn game itself hasn't arrived. Looks like I'll be asking them to refund the extra shipping I paid for release date delivery.

If you pre-ordered through gamestop

the code has issues and is only giving you the Nascar car right now

Sony is working on the problem and will either send a new code or it through GT5 or PSN (if you used your code (like most have))

in short it's sony to blame not gamestop

they will most likly send it to them

Has anyone else used their Gamestop preorder code? I have entered mine and I do not see any mentioning about the McLaren f1 stealth car, just the Nascar car.

Edit: Never mind, it showed up during the checkout stage. It is just not mentioned in the code redeem description.

Gamestop are a bunch of goobers. Pre-ordered my collectors editon the day it was announced. Recieved my game and no codes. I call up and the moron asked is that for playstation or xbox. I was nice and said ps3. So she says it takes 48 hours to recieve the codes. I asked her why other people have recieved theirs and she said they were lucky. I was speechless and just hung up. It isn't worth getting all uptight for a couple bonus cars but what a moron.

and to expect a email on my sign in email (psn email address) on how to resolve the issue in 1-2 business days so probably Monday at best
