GT5 Pre-Order Bonuses?

Or better yet pm me for a free code for the stealth Mclaren and Nascar from GameStop. You see, since I pre-ordered the both the Standard Edition and th Collector's Edition...I received 2 sets of codes contain identical cars. And since it is Thanksgiving, the first person to PM me will get the code. I guarantee you it will work. No B.S. Just showing my love for the game and being a nice guy.

Is the gamestop pre order bonus suppose to be the AMG Stealth?

I got the Pre-order bonus card with my GT5 CE but i notice the card it shows the Mclaren F1 with the Nascar on the front , when i flip over the card it says
"Downloadable Custom 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Stealth Model and the GameStop Nascar car"

That means i got the wrong one right?! I seriously just want the Mclaren F1 Stealth not the AMG car.
 
Amazon just sent me this evening the code for a nice SLS AMG Stealth racer, great customer service. However, I have two issues with this:

1. The game really isn't in my hands yet due to some annoying issues.
2. As nice as the SLS is, what I wan't is the Audi R10!!! Is anybody willing to trade a SLS for a GT-R or an R10? Please! :lol:.

Other than that, no problems with the pre-order bonuses 👍.

Go back there with your receipt and tell them you didn't receive the pre-order bonus ASAP.

I called EB Games today and they said they forgot to give me the code and gave it to me over the phone.

Amazon just sent me this evening the code for a nice SLS AMG Stealth racer, great customer service. However, I have two issues with this:

I have a spare gtr code if your willing to trade for the sls. I'm going to sleep now, but I can give it to you tomorrow. I'm in the US.
 
My gamestop pre order code doesn't seem to work, it keeps telling me it is either invalid or has been used before and to check it again.
 
Had my email come through today from amazon UK, i received 2 cars:

Mazda (stealth)
Maclaren F1 (stealth)

Has anyone else had theirs from amazon UK yet?

Actually just realised it states Mazda - no indication of what model etc etc, at work at moment but will try tonight and update! Lets hope its the mazda furai !!!!

I got a code from Play.com for my preorder car pack but when I go to redeem the code there is only a GTR present and not the AMG that is shown on the site. I havent redeemed the car yet just incase it's a bug or something.

Anyone having trouble getting both cars with their redeem code?

There is nothing wrong with the code that you have, so you can use it, you're just missing the second code that should have been given too

After contacting Play I received the code for the Nissan and thought the same as yourself. However, I have spoke to someone else who ordered from Play.com and they received two codes, one for each car. I had to contact play to get the code for the Nissan as they hadn't e-mailed it... and today I've had to contact them again to get the Mercedes code (still waiting on it).

Thanks for the info fella, yeah I did contact Play again regarding the Merc but am still waiting for a reply myself. At least I can try out the Nissan now.
 
I'm still awaiting the codes from play.com, I just spoke with support who at first tried to tell me that I hadn't ordered the special edition!!. I explained that was correct but I was talking about the std edition pre-order codes. They appeared a little vague about the pre order codes. then when pushed on the matter fell back to a position of the codes will be available this week.. I said that's reassuring but what do you mean this week. she said well it's Thursday isn't it.. had to remind the operator that it might be Thursday where she was but it's Friday here and the working week ends within the hour!!

Then she admitted that there had been several people phoning some had codes, some didn't get all of them or any of them!! and that it had been escalated and that "the codes will be sent out this week" .. hmmm I'll be pissed of if I don't get my Nissan and AMG let's see what develops!

UPDATE ONE:

Just received one code for the Nissan but no AMG GRRR!!!

will chase them again tomorrow.

Update TWO:

Just off the phone, they confirmed I should have had two codes, it's being escalated again ... another 24 hour wait ... I'm beginning to think that perhaps I might not be ordering from play again!! four emails and two calls so far!

Still Nothing so emailed again .. got this.. "Regards to your concern,we check your order details and we do not see any
item you've ordered from us except Gran Turismo 5.
Please kindly check your order history.For further resolution for your
issue.
"

This is frankly a Joke!!

I Called and was told I've been emailed the second code.. asked him why he couldn't tell me the second code when he could tell me the first one.. silence and his voice became very uncomfortable! I'll get them to send it again (which sounds like a brush off) time to get trading standards involved in the UK I think.

I just got my standard edition from Walmart. It had the flyer for the NSX taped on the back. So do these codes expire on 1/31/11?
 
Can the following way to exchange bonus cars work?

Since all of the accounts on the PS3 get the bonus cars, you create another ("fake") account and start a game with it. This new account will get the bonus car, which you then gift to someone else. Hopefully, and this needs confirming, only the account that gifts the car will lose it, the other accounts will keep it. The other person doing the trade would gift you their bonus car from their "fake" account to your main account.

What do you think?
