I honestly don't believe 'Spec2' will be as ground breaking as some people are making it out to be...yes it improves GT5 but FM4 still seems to be making all the right noises from the get go.
(Note, I'm no Forza fanboy...)
The pictures I posted are the N24 and VLN versions, which aren't categorized by the FIA. They are kinda comparable to GT3 I think. The one above should be the one we get with 2.0, it's the car Yamauchi drove.
EDIT: In the 24h race they drove in the class SP8 T, which means GT2 cars and less, they are usually a lot slower than the highest class SP9, which includes FIA GT3 cars, because of restrictions.
Oh come on. That didn't sound like it was meant to be offensive or nasty, so no one would call you out.I honestly don't believe 'Spec2' will be as ground breaking as some people are making it out to be...yes it improves GT5 but FM4 still seems to be making all the right noises from the get go.

GT3 cars are a bit faster than the GT2... at least have more horsepower and less weight (almost the same but theres a little diference).... and have aids (TC and ABS) also and I beleave GT2 doesnt
But like I said, the GT-R isn't categorized by the FIA (there is a FIA GT3 Nissan GT-R now in real life too by the way). There are also cars like a Audi RS4 in that class, which definitely is not a GT2 car.GT3 - BoP'd series with cars being mostly built around a power to weight ratio. They're not lighter (R8 LMS & MP4-12C GT3 for example weigh 1300kg vs GTE minimum of 1245kg) but are generally 500hp+ whereas GTE cars are ~470hp.

....And now please, stop discussing Forza here...
It'll probably just be better if there's a way of searching through the cars like the Garage is set up. Same style that the dealership has now, but with Sorting lists. In that case, have a list for types of cars. DING DING DING DINGI hope they categorize the dealership(not likeley) into Super GT, Nascar, concept, road cars etc. Makes things easier for me.
Also I hope they up the car roster for SuperGT as they did with Nascar. Some brilliant cars in the series.

savage388I'd it's more than a gig I don't know what I'm going to do. I only have a 768k connection.
Hey, I can't even play online because I lag so bad! It's awful. Really I keep my online play to a minimum because it takes soo long to connect to the servers.
Nice joke....end of last year the GT3 Vette's were something like 1340kg and had the smallest restrictors by atleast 1mm. They may have been the spec you've quoted but that would have been before any FIA official got a hold of it.
GT3 was meant to be a cheap 'amateur' class for drivers to get noticed and move up the sportscar ranks. GT3 series' are usually the top national level for amateur sportscar racing but it's evolved into something alot more serious and expensive since it started around 2006.
These are official figures (don't trust SRO websites as they're usually just rough as uncut timber) for the BoP of FIA GT3 Europe and ADAC GT Masters:
BMW Z4
FIA GT3: 1x85mm / 1245kg (1210kg at the start of the season)
ADAC: 1x85mm / 1225kg
Corvette Z06 GT3
FIA GT3: 1x49mm / 1350kg
ADAC: 1x49mm / 1280kg (1330kg at the start of the season)
Corvetteracing.com is the factory team, there's no GT3 car info there as they (Pratt & Miller) didn't build them...
Callaway doesn't race in FIAsco GT3 anymore and like I said, never trust the SRO run websites as they're usually wrong and almost always out of date.
Bit OT this discussion has become....
Last time I checked this thread was 40 pages ago..... Wow!
