Well we differ in taste friend.

I think it's as hideous as the normal GT by Citroën, esspecially the back.

but again nothing is as subjective as taste ;)

I think it looks significantly better than the original concept. I still do not care for the shape of the rear though. It kind of looks like a beetle.

Your tires now visibly pick up dirt if you go offroad.

Awesome find. Nice to finally see that PD has finally focused on the little details such as dirt accumulation, reverse lights, skid marks, and a few others. These just increase the realism factor that much more because it is the little details that count.

I don't think so, unless you can tell me which Ford V8s revs to 9,000rpm.

A stock Ford V8 wouldn't last to 9,000 rpms, but most engines wouldn't either in stock form. There are many 9,000+ rpm Ford V8's out there in Nascar and drag racing. How do you think a 4.6L Mustang can run low 9's? It takes a power adder and rpms. This also mentions a Ford V8 in the car: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GT_by_Citroën. It sure does sound like a DOHC Ford V8 to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOfBMRKLCCA&feature=related

BTW, it was racing the Super GT cars, because it is the racing version in the latest demo, so it had to race against other race cars.

Whoa, i don't understand what you're trying to say at all.

He means this could be the start of prototype racecar racing

e.g.
The new Citroen GT Race Car
The Mazda Furai
The Honda HSV-010

All these cars (probably) will not go into production (HSV might be excepted). So we can drive the concept cars in a "what if" situation.

And I don't see why we won't see the Furai in any case (it being on GTPSP and all for the first time)

I know the real life version uses an American V8, I was ralking about this entirely fictional race car. Since the real version only has an American V8 for the sake of providing movement, there is no reason to keep an American V8 for the fictional versions.

Don't forget the Isuzu that was just confirmed.

Yes.. That engine block is driving me nuts too  Maybe its a Dyno? No... Something that you can't get at the dealer tune shop!?! But WHAT!

Read what it says under thre GT AUTO logo (top left), it says it's engine overhaul.

That engine logo could be to rebuild an engine too. As cars age, especially in racing, the engine will lose power. Same way the oil changes have worked, but to a larger degree.

EDIT: Didn't see the last reply.

Isn't it about time that some gameplay footage from TGS starts popping up on YT? It's evening in Tokyo now and I haven't seen any new clips since yesterday.

That rain on the windscreen viewed on a 3DTV with face-tracking has to be epic, surely?
Bound to give a great sense of depth to the cockpit.

Id be interested to hear from an owner of a 3DTV. With these upcoming videos and someone even for now trying them with 2D-3D conversion. Seriously itching to know how it looks?
