wow! omg, i mean. WOW!!!!! yes! and thats just early trailer! remember how the GT3 became better and better? guess this will just look better and better too to 2007 but that is just awesome... they still have to work on the rally dust... looked pretty much the same as GT4's... but what can i say? just awesome!

Pretty good trailer.

No sign of damage yet which confirms some of my fears. Not much next generation graphics in the trailer though. Yes the cars seem to have more polygons but so do the cars in Forza Motorsport and Project Gotham Racing 3. The backgrounds in the trailer are not a patch on the backgrounds in PGR3. I liked the motion captured pit crews but to be honest nothing else was ground breaking.

Someone mentioned the car interior and the wing mirrors. Well the wing mirrors are already in Forza and the interiors in Test Drive Unlimited and PGR3 are better that what is seen in this trailer.

I hope things will get better.

don't forget it's not GT5 yet... plus that just ran on PRE-Playstation 3 hardware. (Just like MGS4).

The cockpit view is great for a starter. The graphics are amazing already, especially the cars of course.

Well the cars have better lighting and the polycounts are higher. The JGTC cars sounded better, but its fundamentally just GT4 tarted up abit. So I'm not that impressed so far. Still I'm sure PD will take plenty of time releasing another sequel with few actual features above its prequels (along with losing some along the way), just nicer graphics... I hope 5th time round they prove me wrong.

i didnt mean just in graphics though. gt1 was tiny compared to gt2. gt2 had so much extra to do it was untrue. graphics wise i'd compare it from gt2 to gt3 though. that was a big step 👍

Motion captured pit crews is fantastic but still, by today's standards, again nothing too time consuming. 20+ car grids is again a simple programming adjustment and then we have a lot of sprites replaced with 3D models, nothing too hard to do.

So allow me not to be to impressed with the trailer as it shows me nothing special to be honest...

I know there will be a lot of GT die-hard fans saying that this time has been spent on top secret features that will amaze us all when KY/PD are prepared to show us. But realistically since Sony need all the publicity they can get to fight off the XBOX 360's imminent launch I think we've seen the best there is so far.

To put it simply if (VGT does exist in some form or title) and it's this trailer and it will be released at launch of PS3 then PD are geniuses. But if this is GT5 and I won't get to play it until 2007-2008 and it will be as ropey as GT4 was (in terms of missing features we all wanted and numerous bugs and glitches) then games like Forza Motorsport will steal it's crown.

Vision GT was apparently nothing more than 1 video for E3.

The next game will be Gran Turismo 5.
