This one is special since I did it mostly because I already had a 500PP tuned stratos, wich was extensively tinkered with to make it not only fast, but also neutral handling and easy to drive.
I set it up a long time ago when someone said it was undriveable, and that no tuning could help. I bet him I could beat him, and I did, despit the fact he was in the mighty GSX-R/4.
Still looks great in that intense, deep, clear green color.

@photonrider
The maximum gap for Midnight Hound is quite close to what I performed since after the photo the leaderboard disappeared...
... it was a cross fingers waiting for...

Adds to the suspense! A tricky mission for sure.

Holy moly 7:20 in the Civic is insane! I know you're fast and all but wow.

I mean, that's 21 secs ahead of my win. I'm not even going to try to beat that.

You did well, buddy, very inspirational!

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Was going to save this till the end, but it's useless now.

@ERAZER feel free to share that tune. :sly:

IMAG0047.jpg

I'd like that tune if you are willing to share it. I might make it a win but nowhere near as quick as @ERAZER . That is one excellent drive:tup:👍👍👍👍, though I already knew you were an alien. Very well done indeed. I would really like to see the replay because I would like to see an Academy type run. When all of that was going on was when my wheel failed. I still doubt I would reach such an incredible run at the Ring. Very well done mate.:cheers:

Will post setup as soon as I fire up the PS3 again. ;)

Unfortunately I didn't save the replays:guilty: Could possibly re-run them, but I figure its better to focus on new events, will save replays in the future for you.:)
With these events the key is to time the overtakings properly so you dont loose time, being stuck behind the AI for just a corner or 2 can cost up to 3-4 seconds, and with 16 of them, it'll make all the difference.

I really hated to use this car. It's a cheat car IMHO, by that I mean it is so lite and fast and the cars you compete against are heavier so that the power to weight ratio is skewed. I will admit that it does get the job done and then some. My latest submission to Grease Monkey. This is the first time I have driven one with no tune just an oil change and increased rigidity.

Edit: @ERAZER I don't know what it is but if I'm able to watch a replay with all info it makes me faster. I can see how the aliens get through turns and where they brake and how fast they are entering a turn, how fast they are in rolling/rotating at the apex and exit speed. I'm able to absorb the essence of the run. I know it sounds crazy but I did the same thing when I raced in real life. I would sit for hours watching replay after replay and go and turn a better lap time every time. So I learn more by observing and then seal it with tactile learning which is hands on. I know that without a wheel I could most likely never get near your time. No need for you to make a replay just for me, I have very grateful that you mentioned it though.

Edit II: I am looking for the Midnight Racers. I looked at the International A and didn't see a night race though there is one in the A license called Night Masters. I just don't want to get it wrong again. So please tell me where to find this race. I very much like the night races. Thanks in advance.

After @ERAZER fireworks... :D:bowdown:

The Grease Monkey (faster record):

TRMINTLB AIHUB S500SH SUZGSXR01 STOCK 610666 20180109_122518.jpg

FL: 1.31.233 but the key has been a good first lap 1:34.966

6:09? challenging but not impossible by pad/at...

ciao

PS: I would propose a gentlemen agreement for which the AI HUB winners should share their tunes at the end of the event

:lol:Well I have had fun with these races but between @ERAZER, @bjl23 and @RMan72 I'm not fairing very well as far as times go. I miss my wheel and so far the friend of a friend hasn't showed to try and repair my DFGT. I'm looking forward to the new races as I have watched my times get worse. I most likely could run times like @ERAZER, I just can't do it with the DS3. That does not mean I'm leaving I just hope the new seasonals are like Ascari, Autumn Ring Reverse other tracks I can run without using the brakes.

Photonrider.... You did a tremendous job in keeping GT6 fun and interesting. Thank you!

You're very welcome! All of you did a tremendous job turning these events into more than just another bunch of virtual races - there was a lot of fun and much learning of how the game plays out and I believe that we all played a much more immersive game in here than most.
I will attempt to keep generating activity in here was long as possible - especially for players who are new to the gamer and may have only picked up a copy recently.

It was good to see you back - I think we all missed the pictures you would post!

I might have to revert to drinking if no events get added soon.

Apologies, drivers, stay off the bottle.
Will be posting up several events in the next 24 hours. Rest and recuperate till then. It was a great round and a week of rest will do you good before we get into the mayhem for the next three weeks.
Have got some good events lined up but some of the 'Design-An-Event' winners (who won events and the right to create the next set of challenges) haven't come back to me yet with their challenges. Please check the OP to verify who won and who is supposed to come back to me with the new challenges; if you are unable to create a challenge then you may hand that privilege to another player.
Looking forward to hearing from them soon.
H.

Players please note:
We have 7 events now running; 3 Whoosier-ruled events based on online Seasonal Races, 2 open events based on Career Mode races, and 2 Special Prize Whoosier-ruled events based on Career Mode Races. All events will end the instant PD takes down the current racing Seasonals, at which point submission of entries will also close.
You may only claim one Prize from the 2 Prize events presented.
You may, however, also claim any other one Whoosier-ruled title from the non-prize events.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions if there is any confusion.
Thank you for your participation.

Uuuhhh . . . wow? :boggled:

Nice work.

Thanks for sending me the next Route X Challenge - will be posting it up soon.
There was a time Ed_Night used to send me challenges based on Time Trials (The Dark Knights TT Corner) - but he has moved on now and I'm glad you've filled up that hole with your Route X Challenges. 👍

Also - some thoughts on your experiences with The Kombinator? How did the AI treat you? Were they somewhat irritated? How human did they become?

The story behind the mission for Japan Star was that the Emperor of Japan was kind of bored with people winning with a huge margin and decided that he would award the famed Star of Japan to any racer that came along and gave the fans an exciting race - and I think you did that very well.

But will someone else take it away from you? Only time will tell who thrills the fans the most.

@photonrider I found that the AI in THE KOMBINATOR got pretty annoyed with me trying to slow them down, specially the guy in p3. The bus isn't the easiest of cars for this (well it is a bus) It is very tricky, good challenge 👍

Has far as the ROUTE X CLUB goes I'm happy to do it, I love making up events as I'm sure you have worked out by now. (private messages). I have a beauty plained for the next one.

FYI: subaru backwards is U R A BUS:lol:
