It's all confusing. I thought it was all starting 2015.

Still, one series being in GT6 doesn't have an impact on any other, whether it's the same rules package or not.

They also run different engines. The DTM cars use their 4.0 litre V8 engines, which are pretty much the same since the relaunch of the series in 2000 and the new GT500 cars have four cylinder turbos (2.0 litre?) with some sort of hybrid, if I'm not mistaken.

The difference is the engine configuration and non-spec tires in SuperGT. DTM might switch to 2liter turbos in 2016/2017, the same year Daytona Prototype changes regulations.

GT500 have 6 cylinder engines I believe

Gt500's once had 4.5L V8's, which were downsized in 2013 to 3.4L. In 2014, they will be running DTM style 2.0T I4's

In other (non GT6) news, I saw an ad tonight during Survivor for that other racing game coming out on that one next gen platform. That ad must have cost a small fortune.

I hope Sony and PD step up and get a little more aggressive with their ad campaign.

Im looking over the tracks and cars in the website. Is the start finish in Apricot Hill, now flat? In the real world, that sle is too steep. I wonder if PD levele it a bit and changed the elevations elsewhere.
