Got my Anniversary edition this morning and its here with me at work, only 2 hrs left till track time .

When I made the pre order, I was told that Apex 2 would be included. Guess what, it wasn't there .

Can anyone shed some light on this? Was there meant to be Apex 2 for the UK market?

Not sure if this has been mentioned, sorry if it has been previously discussed.

Had it on preorder since September, way before the digital download was available.
Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't have time to play GT6, have tons of work until 21 December.

The funny thing is, I didn't pre-order it over PSN until the night before the game was released.
So I still got the Precision Pack

They probably should have let someone without a searing hate for Gran Turismo games do that instead.. If you're annoyed over not being able to drive a super car within the first 30 minutes (you probably can anyway through arcade right? ) Then you probably have missed what GT is all about.

You should have seen their GT5 launch party. Their "stig" couldn't stay on the road. It would appear that they are still in Microsoft's pocket. This is why I don't trust critic reviews.

Does someone else also experiences popups with shadows at the Matterhorn Dristelen track? It's very clear when you approach the start/finish line and you see the shadow popping in and out. Also some houses act weird.

Already got it! I paid 219 PLN (around 50 EUR) for Standard Edition, gamestore where I bought GT6 ran out of Anniversary Editions. Downloading the patch now, can't wait to play it
15 minutes left.

Ok i bought this on psn for my nethew, I downloaded it installed it and tried starting it and it says "the content is not available before the start date" he's extremely annoyed as am i, Anyone this problem or know how to fix it? I generally cant tolerate things like tjis when i've wasted hours downloading and installing

I found out that the LCC Rocket '07, which you get as a bonus car after getting gold on the first Goodwood special events, has a default (with the stock suspensions) toe angle of -0.2 front and 0.40 rear. One of the few cars which has special settings for that, from what I've seen so far.

I thought that IGN's review was very very fair. Great in so many ways but the little things are what is pinning the series back right now.

i.e. Sound, damage, not the most up to date car list/premium car models etc

Now started to wait next update for few minor cons:

-No ability to copy settings sheets
-Changing powerlimiter, no more showing directly affects, first have to press OK to see what happened to HP
-Oil changes HP/PP changes visible after change, not showing what to expect.
-No RA-menu anymore
-Replay mode doesn't show current lap or time or anything, only way is to go live timing view to see what lap is going, but from there you don't see actual replay.

Menu on online and car tuning is a puzzle, need to be made simpler, people will get frustrated to surf there, needs much more options to there.
Rental cars can't be used on online if there is "open garage" style restrictions on room, only when host has checked "one-make" and selected rentals(each by each) to it.
Some other annoying things also, can't just remember now.

Betting at we'll see soon many improvements made on those thru update.

Still after this whine, really like game a LOT.

1.01 took me about 20 min to download, another 3 to install. Optional download took about 2 minutes.

I'll be able to do 1 race and go back to class, come back at 3:30 and play for 18 hours

Just the review I expected. Much of what they say is true, but they forget to mention a lot of things too. Saying the car roster is somewhat out-dated and they make no mention whatsoever of the Vision GT project... weird.

Also, splitscreen got downgraded No smoke effects at all in splitscreen


I don't know how payouts will be in future races, right now they are fine for me (3rd event in national b), I already won a few price cars and tuned my BRZ. Goodwood Events give a alot of money.

I think you can enable that in some buton, i did that yesterday but can recall where...

Not sure if it's a bug... but the Stage 3 engine tuning on the Daihatsu Mira TR-XX increases power from 63 to 230 hp!
Stage 1 increases it to 68 hp, while Stage 2 only to 69 hp. Something weird going on there.

Is this after the patch? Just bought one now, non J version, and looked at stage 3 it shows 61->67hp.

Do you mean the Cuore version?

I have the "MIRA TR-XX Avanzato R '97" one and I just installed all power upgrades.
With Stage 3 tuning and the High RPM turbo kit it's got 588 hp and 60.2 kgfm / 625 PP (700 Kg stock weight).

No, I bought the right one, the 97 tr-xx, went to stage 3 and it showed 67hp with no other mods, but I haven't installed 1.01 yet.

Downloaded 1.01 and now it shows 247hp. Hahahahaha.

Call me crazy, but I think break-in is gone. I've racked up 115km in the Clio that I've won as a prize car, and the power didn't change a bit since I got it and changed the oil.
