I do wonder about hybriding in GT6. After what happened in GT5, ya'll think they will already have it set were no one can hybrid cars in GT6?

 I bet someone has been trying. Stuff like that always happens in every game.

Ahh crap. o_o I better scrap up my post then.

EDIT: Why does the one I found seem different to your link? I'll just post it just in case.

Gran Turismo 6 has a PS4 version in Order
Kazunori Yamauchi sits down to reveal in-depth details regarding the upcoming Gran Turismo 6.

The expected release of Gran Turismo 6 was announced by Polyphony Digital’s, Kazunori Yamauchi back in May marking the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo series. And a demo was released just a few days ago on July 2nd.

It has been an emphatic ride so far with the game going through its major ups and down during the development procedure. But nonetheless, the hard being put in seems to have reaped fruit as the demo version of Gran Turismo is nothing short of spectacular.

As speaking to an official PlayStation magazine, Yamauchi revealed that they intend to also release Gran Tourismo 6 for Sony’s PlayStation 4.

“We actually do have a PS4 version in mind”

And that is as much as Yamauchi had to say regarding the games expected release for the next generation of Sony’s console world. However, as the interview went along further, Yamauchi got into details regarding the amount of work it has taken to give the users astonishing control over all of the 1200 cars that have been promised.

“Driving a racing car, you control it with a lot of different sensors mounted on the car,” Yamauchi explained. “We’re able to collect a lot of different date: how the ride height of the car changes when you’re driving, how that changes in relation to the aerodynamics, and how your steering balance changes.”

“Two weeks ago I drove the Nissan GTR GT3 on the Nurburgring, and we collected the data from that car as well – and when we returned to Japan we fed all this data into Gran Turismo. I drove the same [car and track] in Gran Turismo, and we started to realize what was different.”

Last but not the least, it can be easily said that the team from Polyphony Digital and everyone who has been involved the game development process have been working very hard to make the game’s driving experience as close to reality as possible. And that is only what a genuine car fanatic would ask for.

Don't try understand, the next episode will be GT7.

"GT6 HD" on PS4, is the believe.... :)

Because GT6 isn't already in 1080p.........

The whole GT6 on PS4 thing was already discussed at length in other thread and it's obviously nonsense. There's no point in releasing a PS4 version of GT6 because it would mean making the game from scratch so it can properly use the new hardware and that that point they might as well just work in GT7. Those websites are just misreading what KY says to fuel a dumb rumour.

You are indeed right on that one, and I agree. I actually want GT7 to be a whole new game, not "GT6 PS4"...

Good thing for me I stopped watching motorsports on TV in 2008.

Internet is a hell of a drug.

It would be hilarious if they released a PS4 version of GT6. I can already see the rage threads titled "GT5.5.5" :D

Nice link conjerski. I particularly liked this bit:
Competing under the 'Nismo Athlete Global Team' banner, the fully factory-backed team is based out of Yokohama in Japan, and has so far confirmed it will contest three global endurance motorsport events: the Sepang 12 Hour race in Malaysia (August 2013), the Nurburgring 1000km race in Germany (September 2013) and Bathurst 12 Hour event in Australia (February 2014).

We have two of those tracks in GT6 - will we get Sepang too? I'm probably getting my hopes up there a bit, but it might be possible...maybe.

I certainly hope so, it being my home track and all. But I wouldn't hold my breath. I don't think it would be that much fun to race on unless you were driving really fast cars.

Actually, come to think of it, having Sepang would make a little sense, it holding the only championship Super GT round outside Japan.

Any news on what Gran Turismo's part will be in this event?

Considering they do have some D1 cars I'm not surprised, despite them being relatively older. The site also lists them as a "Main Sponsor", the only one at that.

We're going to get all the cars and tracks in the D1 season!! Tell everyone!

Not true for anyone who may think it as such.

They sponsor D1GP. That's what that banner is from.

I spoke to my brother-in-law a local Bathurst resident and he's "IN" (well he knows a handful of people that work in and around the V8 Supercars and other minor motor sport associations) a few motor-sport associated people from him living and working Bathurst for the past 10ish plus years (same family member that got the photos of the apparent PD Crew taking shots of Bathurst.) from working in various fields from council working to various Car dealerships etc.

He is hearing that GT6's Australian release date will be on the Bathurst weekend in October and will be in conjunction with an Australian GT Academy and Nissan Motorsports "Nismo" Australia starting up business / production in Australia. It to me sounds credible enough cause it doesn't seem to be that unrealistic.

I wouldn't be surprised cause, if this is the case. The whispers are that it is a possibility that we will see either V8 supercar Alitma or Altima car model in GT6. As Rick Kelly owner, operator , driver of Nissan/Nismo Jack Daniels Racing is taking like an old GT3/GT Academy Nismo GTR for the 12 hour in February 2013.

Which another "makes sense" thing is that it was leaked / confirmed on like a UK playstation website that Bathurst and Silverstone was a "key" new tracks, I think the screen shot may have did the rounds on GTPlanet.

It isn't too much of stretch to think this might be close to the truth. Since it's an offically backed Nissan Team in V8 Supercars and Bathurst is the race of the year thing etc.

So atm the is just word of mouth, he's hearing it from a source that is usually 100% spot on with these types of things, and that another little tid bid is that the GT academy will run up against Ford Preformance Racing's Shannons Supercar Showdown.

So Huzzah :/ ? lol

That seems all fairly logical, and I think around the same time as the Bathurst scanning information was posted, there were mentions that the Kelly V8 Supercars were very likely to appear. I just hope that they are also able to get a Ford and Holden in too, depending on what sort of agreement Forza has with them.

Also, as we've seen in Spain, PD don't usually go to a country just for one track, so it will be fascinating to see if they have added any other Australian cars or even photomode locations. It would be great to see any Australian road cars in the game!

All of that seems plausible except the release date. October seems too early, we had adverts in the UK that said christmas and I doubt Australia will get it a month or more before us.

I think October would be the ideal launch date as at least it's before the PS4 launch, but it does look unlikely.

Ya never know cause most franchise games come out sept oct nov yearly so it's only sensible to think that they will get into before the Xbone release with the launch forza 5 which is November who knows how much invested interest they have in gtaOz. Thinking that it was November 2010 when gt5 was released etc but ya never know lol
