GT7 Circuit Experience Overly Difficult....

I wish they were set by the above but highly doubt it!
I beat the Nurburgring GP Gold time by 2.5 secs and there's no way I'm 2.5 seconds quicker than either of those two!
Gold isn´t the Best Time from this Drivers ;D
Look at Demo and you know how fast they can go.
Try to beat that! Bro

BTW: i´m not at your List.. i have to make this Route i think.

oh dont understand this before.. but i will try to beat YOU ;P

Edit: BTW pleas try to beat me on the Nordschleife also.
I'll keep an eye on the times ;)
I just finished golding all the sections last night - will try the full lap tonight :D

Laguna Seca is the hardest one for me so far. But other than I’ve never had any major issues.

It’s certainly a lot harder than GTS though.
after 50 tries i did laguna, then went to fm7 and tried to do that there and was 3 seconds slower, then again all that mess with homologation in fm7 made same car have too much power so i didn't bother tuning it to gt7 spec

Some say it's too dificult, other say it's to easy.

I would say it's balanced. But if you come to GT7 thinking you can just throw the car into the corners like in GTS, you are going to loose it every time.

Anyone in here try the Le Mans sector 4 and Sardegna road sector 2? They seem to have that extra, buggy difficulty...or I really am that off pace

I have 100% gold on all the circuit experiences on GTS but some of these on GT7 are quite unbearable, even on my T300RS. Like, I am honestly to the point if I keep trying to get gold on the GT7 ones, I will stop playing the game lol. Everyone thinks the license test are hard, wait til they try some tracks in Circuit Experience. Tell me why PD thought it was a great idea to make these way harder for no reason. Some tracks I am over a second off, even on a wheel, so I am sorry for the controller users. Also went back to sport and the same sector 1 on Suzuka has the gold requirement 5 seconds slower. GT7 wants you to get a 33.600 where GTS wants a 38.900 with basically the same Gr.3 NSX, and GTS is lenient on track limits and walls. GT7 is strict just like the Licenses so I think PD either has to adjust the gold requirements and give more freedom on track limits like GTS or allow us to use our own cars.

Btw I am absolutely loving the game otherwise but man Circuit Experience is quite deceiving lol
I do also think they're difficult but I have the opposite reaction. Me falling short of my goal only makes me want it that much more. I can't express in words how good it feels to finally nail what feels like a pixel perfect run. I think it's worth the pain.

I’m starting to believe that some of the challenges are bugged? I’m comparing my footage with the AI and not only does the AI have a better launch they also seem to have very unnatural car control. I’m watching the AI go over both sausage curbs at the end of Catalunya with no difficulty at all and when you try it yourself the car violently oversteers. The angle and speed that the AI takes the corner seems really fishy also. I’ve been trying to clear this sector for over an hour now and I simply don’t know how to do it. At this point I’m trying to find a way to cut the corners and cheese it if it’s possible.

-edit-

Finally did it by turning on traction control and really flooring it at the end of the chicane. By far the hardest sector I’ve tried so far; even harder than the middle section of Deep Forest with that crappy R8.

There’s clearly been multiple physics revisions since those demos were recorded. To me it still looks like GTS physics on the demos/

The demo of Autopolis looks like a different time of day than the event itself.

I love the fact they're difficult. I'm an average racer and I actually feel challenged. I like the fact I'm genuinely not good enough on some of these tracks to get gold without doing genuine individual sector practice. Makes the gold actually worth something.

I do kinda wonder though...I'm on a DD1 wheel, I cannot imagine how much skill controller players need to do these things.

The main incentive to keep on trying to get gold in some of the tests was, for me at least(and I assume everyone else), the gold reward.

If the circuit experience gold times (sector and overall one lap) don't provide a specific gold reward, which is what everyone is saying, then I will not spend as much time on them going forward.

Beat the Nordschleife gold time in second try after hours of golding the sectors. The feeling when you made it is just truly the GT feeling i had since GT1.
I was exhausted, happy and proud :) .

I really like it when a game is challenging me to my skill limits. So, for me the diffucult is absolutely ok - BUT inconsistend between tracks. That is the one point thats a little odd.

Nah... I think it is way too easy. Some say the Nordschleife is the hardest. I did the full lap in the second attempt, beating the gold time by few seconds.

Here’s a wild idea. What if people play the game thouroughly, learn the game’s mechanics, use aids if helpful, improve their driving skills, learn new driving techniques to be faster in specific scenarios and continually improve their laptimes until they can achieve the gold?

By the way, it might be easier to gold if you use TC.

Circuit Experience for the most part is difficult to complete with full Gold. I love the challenge of it as the majority of the game is far too easy. The pressure of having to bring it all together for the full lap time is just what I want.

I have yet to unlock Circuit de la Sarthe, so am wondering what car you get to use?

I was not having too much trouble beating gold until I tried laguna seca. That viper just don't want to turn for me. Understeer, understeer and more understeer. A bit strange to me because I remember liking that Viper in GTS and laguna seca is one of my favorite circuits.

I can be faster than the ghost in all sectors but I can't get a clean lap together with all fast sectors yet, always mess up the lap somewhere, need to be like 0.030 faster.

edit: got it on what felt like an awful lap. Strange car that Viper Gr.4 you really have to drive "slow" to go fast.

You guys are scaring me. I beat gold by at least 2s in S licenses (the last one took me 40 mins to figure out a good line), but I just saw a video of a very good Nordschleiffe run and it's barely gold.

I think I'll pass until a physics update. In GTS I topped my leaderboard then they wiped them out. Don't want that to happen again.
It's definitely difficult but do-able with a bit of practice, it's more that it takes 6 minutes to realise you're gonna be out by half a second when you get to the end of the lap

Hi all! anyone tryed la Sarthe sector 5 in circuit experience after 1.06 update ? first curve in demonstration its flat out at 315km/h yet when i try the rear end spins out every time. Im playing on controller, assists and TC doesen't help at all

I'm by no means an A1 grade driver, but I have managed to get gold on all licenses and missions so far. I am also attempting to gold all circuit experiences working my way across the screen from left to right (US, Europe, Asia). I am up to Circuit de la Sarthe now and previously managed the US tracks without too much trouble (Laguna Seca being the most tricky). Sector 5 at Circuit de la Sarthe was by far and above a significant step up in difficulty for me. Took me over 200 miles of attempts to finally gold it by 0.002 secs! I found the rear tyres would lose traction at full speed on first corner. It is do-able at full throttle you just have to take as large an arc as possible. I didn't let off until corner 4 right hander to make your entrance into the final corner before the two chicanes as wide as possible. This final corner exit speed is what will determine your time to the greatest extent. The first of the two final chicanes can be taken pretty straight and you can cut the corner of them by quite a lot. You need to be on the right side of the track for the final chicane to avoid overshooting the apex of final right turn.

I'd managed to get this far in the game without ASM on and counter steering assistance as well but I did have it on for sector 5 after many failed attempts.

I am now attempting full lap! 😐

They’re tougher than GT Sport probably to milk time with the game.

The new solo content was shockingly short. Also having random wind speed and direction in time set events and missions is stupid.
So, is this why when I'm having trouble with a test or mission, I walk away from it, come back and gold it within like two tries?

I tryed it again just to see did they fix anything in 1.08 update and they did, u can manage the first corner at full throttle now but u have to be careful of how much u steer which was impossible to do before without rear wheels sliding off.
