On the website, it says they will be changed at “irregular intervals”, whatever that means.

My guess is weekly but whenever they release a new track they will change a race to accommodate it - makes sense to keep the wording ambiguous in that scenario (but then again, who would care if they did that whilst it just said weekly lol)

I still haven’t bought the Game, from your honest opinion, tell me is it worth to actually blow out 80€ for GT7 or am I better off waiting for some upcoming patches.
I still have no Wheel so I’m not in a rush.
But from what I read here, GT7 seems to be seriously broken in many ways.

I would say, it depends. If you like collecting cars (which are a substitute for the typical level in the game), you should have bought the game at launch. Plenty of rare cars around in used cars and legend cars, which might not return in a long time. Mark IV Ford for 4,6M (a steal which I did not buy) sold out, as well as F50 for 3,3M (which I bought). Currently a 911 strassenversion there for 3M in legend cars (bought it too).

But don't buy before the next update on Thursday. Licence test progression tough, with dirt tests having comfort tires and what not, so not good 😅 Also, unlocking features takes time btw.

Daily races, penalties and general experience have been good. I have done only 2 daily races at Deep Forest daily b. This is because I am focusing on gt mode atm.

It's exploiting, not hacking. Same with any game, that's the dev's fault not the player's. Remove the lap, yes but ban? 🤣

Those who EXPLOIT this "fault" know they are cheating, this is why they should get penalized.
They know the exploit and tuned their cars to benefit the exploit and is cheating plain and simple.

What PD should do is thank the driver that he found a bug and patch it. Remove the lap from the leader board, sure.

Removing lap from leaderboards will not solve, they will just dominate the race without qualifying... not fair.

New A appears to be up? Alsace - Test Course Reverse, old 500, Mini, or Beetle, 78HP/1102 lbs/CM/no nitrous. So similar to the first time then. Another new track...

Same now. 20 minutes ago when I checked it had a 5:50 race at Deep Forest for B and a 7:45 Gr.3 BoP race at Daytona. I was able to run a time trial, but wanted to change cars as the one I picked is aparantley 10 seconds a lap slower than the '97 Supra.

Not sure about the early days of GT Sport, but it wasn't like this when I started.

I mean last week's races I only had the option for either A or B. There was no Daily C available for me to try.

Just not true mate. It's actually possible to accidentally do this glitch. I did it and was shocked that it actually worked, because I was essentially spamming buttons on the tuning pages in such a way that could easily be replicated by someone without knowing they did it.

Race B and C taken down. B was Gr4 at Nurburgring GP and was immediately exploitable with a full tuning setup despite bop being on. Really hope polyphony are fixing it as we speak.

I’d say the same happened for Daily C which was Daytona with BoP.

Yes but you can't accidentally post a time in a car that's clearly not had BoP applied can you?! It's pretty obvious!

If you've posted a time with what is clearly a cheat you should be punished. If you just found the glitch then didn't post a time that is obviously fine

There were "exploits" in GTS, mainly involving track limits, Catalunya and Goodwood the chicanes could be bypassed, PD removed the times and fixed it.

100%. I played GT Sport heavily for 2 years, I won 5 online races. Let me tell you those 5 were huge achievements for me and I'll never forget them. Along the way I had tonnes of great battles, funny moments, heated but often hilarious 'disagreements' in the post race chat, watched a good few between others, learned some insults in Spanish, Italian, German etc. had last lap miracles, first lap implosions and an all around blast of a time.

I never won any in Sport. This time I bought the Peugeot and have won 3 of my last 4, but I do feel a bit dirty using that car!

I dislike tuning and that settings sheet so much I won’t be using this exploit for that reason alone! To be honest I don’t really care if there’s a hack around the BoP. I’m just happy to have a proper race and it won’t happen again.
Onto the race itself. I had to cave and buy that VGT. It’s straight line speed is too much to ignore. It actually handles really well for an MR car which are a bit skittish to say the least in this game. Im
Struggling with turn 1 a fair bit, hitting a brake point and getting the right line feels like a stab in the dark every time due to the wide expanse you’re hurtling towards. Looking forward to seeing some guides tomorrow. Best I could muster is a 1.46.6. How’s everyone else finding it?

I decided to do another race on my main account mostly to try and get max SR again and I assume I did.

The race ended up as well as I hoped but I did go from pole to third by a little into the first turn so it is probably necessary to have a separate setting sheet for the race tuned for good acceleration off the line. Also I got PD Logic'd by the only stat being shown correct being races, so for now note that the stats on profile pages may not be correct.

Cannot see the details that well, can you put it in text for the tune?

Once I got over my reaction to tuning in daily B last week I actually had a lot of fun in that race with some pretty intense and often funny races. Shout out to the driver who put himself into the pits after trying to ram me into them and missing 😂

But the situation that we have now for sport mode multiplayer is just a giant fustercluck. I am sure it will be fixed eventually but it's pretty sad and disappointing that we have the situation we have. I am pretty sure I paid full price for a complete game and didn't sign up to beta test the multiplayer. It might help if we had some actual communication & community management from PD but yeah it's PD that ain't happening.

Oh well I guess I might as well go and pretend to be a productive member of society or something till PD get their **** together or I could fire up GT Sport ..... Hmmm 🤔

The ones that do know will not post a time, start in the back, then blow past everyone with their OP car, not obviously fine it's cheating...

A decent compromise until they fix tuning exploits. I'd prefer BoP for race C but at at least we can have a fair race now. Consider my hype for this week restored!
