BoP is gone? Ffs. Guess I’m sitting out another week then.

I half agree with this. But where is the limit? Those who EXPLOIT this "fault" know they are cheating, this is why they should get penalized.
They know the exploit and tuned their cars to benefit the exploit and is cheating plain and simple.
You are welcome, good luck finding it 😎 My plan is to reveal it Friday evening/night this week, if PD fixes the online issues and rally test issues before that. And if PD has not found the secret bug before that.Ooooh…….a secret bug. Thank you for your input, Commander Bond. 🍸🤵♂️
That'll be me 😅 which car/s at the top of the leaderboard now?So anyone who went and bought the VW VGT wasted a ton of credits.
I guess no BoP before it's fixed with the next patchBoP is gone? Ffs. Guess I’m sitting out another week then.
Yep. Feel like a mug, not just for buying a car I didn’t want but for grinding a lap time that’s now been discarded. So anyone who went and bought the VW VGT wasted a ton of credits.
good lolThat'll be me 😅 which car/s at the top of the leaderboard now?
I’ve gone the opposite way. Over 600 GTSport wins as an A/A+ driver and I haven’t even been a factor in any gt7 race yet. Guess I should put some time into tuning….I never won any in Sport. This time I bought the Peugeot and have won 3 of my last 4, but I do feel a bit dirty using that car!
I am still thinking BoP was the original plan for Race C but because of tune-bugs they switched it to this. This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races: Vitamin C
The first full set of Daily Races in Gran Turismo 7 is now available for players, bringing Race C into the mix for the first time...
I guess it's the only way for them to make it fair for the races without a game update, but it's annoying, as I was planning to use the qualifying to test lots of cars with BoP on. Basically, grind a race for credits till I could afford a new car, then test it in qualifying, record the results into a spreadsheet, repeat. I did 4 cars last night, but that's it now.Damn they removed BoP again
I don't know all of them yet, or rather a few of the Gr.4s, as you know, but based on the data and the track layout, the Supra Gr.4 should be very far ahead here as well. A car that's available for free for licenses (International B = Bronze) maybe give it a try.. I'm still at work and then we'll see.Yep. Feel like a mug, not just for buying a car I didn’t want but for grinding a lap time that’s now been discarded.
I won’t bother with race c but if anyone can help out with a race b gr4 car and tune it would be a tremendous help.
Yeah your probably right. Better this then those bugged cars.I guess it's the only way for them to make it fair for the races without a game update, but it's annoying, as I was planning to use the qualifying to test lots of cars with BoP on. Basically, grind a race for credits till I could afford a new car, then test it in qualifying, record the results into a spreadsheet, repeat. I did 4 cars last night, but that's it now.
Well you can race them daily 😀They still call them “Daily”, huh.
You can put forced induction on some of them, not sure if you can put nitrous on them as well?Is there much latitude for upgrades and so on for the Gr3 and Gr4 cars within the limits of the races or is mostly freedom for suspension and other performance tuning?
A gentleman as alwaysI don't know all of them yet, or rather a few of the Gr.4s, as you know, but based on the data and the track layout, the Supra Gr.4 should be very far ahead here as well. A car that's available for free for licenses (International B = Bronze) maybe give it a try.. I'm still at work and then we'll see.
It seems they are at least doing some daily races with BOP, but it was bugged. It should be back after an update, don't lose hope comrade.I really really hate this. They ruined the best thing about GT Sport and I saw it coming. As soon as I saw upgrading cars was back I knew this could happen and completely ruin sport mode for me. I just don't see why they can't keep the tuning to the lobbies, and leave sport mode purely for competitive multiplayer. I don't like tuning, and I don't have a lot of free time. That's my problem but GT Sport made things so simple I had an absolute blast only worrying about the racing.
To answer your question about the Corvette, judging from the shape of the powerband, it does seem like it needs to be short-shifted to get the most pace out of it still (power falls off sharply starting a few hundred RPM before redline with the stock power setup).Guys, what do you think is more important? A warm daytime track or a decent bit of tailwind on the straight?
Also, does the Corvette still need to be shortshifted? My best time so far would say yes but I'm not exactly mister consistent, so...
Because we've all been playing GT Sport for 2+ years and have all the racecars in that game. Being reduced to a paltry 4 Group 3 cars after a week of racing is practically poverty! Woe is us!Can someone help me understand why some people are refusing to race without BoP? Why is having to grind to buy whatever car is meta that week preferential to just buying one car from each category, applying some generic tune that works for most tracks, and just using that in whatever races come up?
Yes, cannot be a good feeling. In my opinion, game still in early stages, some patience required to deal with the bumps and itches so to speak 😅Yep. Feel like a mug, not just for buying a car I didn’t want but for grinding a lap time that’s now been discarded.
I won’t bother with race c but if anyone can help out with a race b gr4 car and tune it would be a tremendous help.
