Yes indeed the TT has been a serious opponent since yesterday... I'm curious if it affects other cars too... I've tested the Jaguar and it doesn't seem to be bad either... low/mid 42 it can Definitely Jag.
I happened to have someone with a TT start behind me in 11th and finish 5th. That thing is fast but the way it takes corners is even more impressive!

I don't think I could be fast in the TT, because I suspect at the moment that you have to force the TT into the corners quite roughly.. I have to test it.. but I don't know if I can still drive today.

Another day of incredibly clean, respectful racing at the Red Bull Ring. I'm truly in awe. With all the negativity surrounding this game lately, it's nice to see that the players aren't lowering their standards.

I got a few 4ths, a 3rd, and a 13th. I spun out bad in the final race on turn 3 and never quite recovered. Good racing was still had, though. But I think my imposter syndrome is slowing me down. Need some of those daily affirmations a la Al Franken.

I improved my qualification time by half a second, then ran 4 races, 4 podiums (1 win). I like that car.

On the other hand, I don't understand the sportmanship rating. Having been S for two months now, I have gotten into some "incidents" (mainly with the Alfa Romeo drivers) in Yamagiwa, but with only one penalty, and dropped to A. Two races later, in a split with BA and BB drivers, but without incidents, one of them even with the clean race bonus, my sportsmanship rating had dropped to B. Go figure.

At least, another two races later, I'm back on A. Do I have to avoid any other drivers by ten meters to get back to S?

So I got a 4 second penalty in each of 2 races today.. so there are still penalties...

Look at Round4

Exactly the same thing happened to me today. Same corner, same situation. My only penalty of the day, but still dropped from S to B within three races. The ratings system seems to count slight paintjob scratches, too...

Yes, you have to be careful with the rating... Contact shouldn't be made if possible, and then only gently... My ratings.. both drivers stayed on S despite such a 4-second penalty and a few smaller bumps... your touches seem to have been a bit harder after all... Or you forced others into a penalty by changing the line in the braking zone ectr... can be anything... just pay attention to it... under B you really should don't fall.. otherwise your DR will drop.

I literally got t-boned at least ten times today, and returned the favour two or three times at most. Several times I tried to avoid any contact, got off the throttle and backed out of possible but risky overtakes when someone had made a mistake, only to find myself surrounded by a charging stampede of wild Alfa Romeos and Subarus who knocked me around. I didn't want to hit back, it just happened, I swear! :)

A really enjoyable clean race i had in daily race B with VanNistelRooy17 in the yellow WRX earlier in the week.

No idea why the music is playing, i choose replay without music :(

You're flying in that Ferrari. It feels pretty nice around here. I tried it last night and got a low 42 but haven't tried it the race yet.

It's pretty good in the races, but if you don't get on the power early enough it's hard to stick with the WRX's, 155's & GTR's. It's my favourite Gr4, I love the exhaust note.

I tried the Merc AMG I was using last week (another favourite of mine) but was in the low 1:42's, so slightly off my best in the F458.

You're flying in the 155 though! I was low 42's in that.

I have been beat up so much in race B that my dr has dropped back to C for tonights manu race, no matter what, im done with race b, only will go in C for remainder of week, i seriously either get t-boned from top 5 or push into last chicane wall, so yea,im done with it

Time for one race at the Red Bull Ring tonight. I start P8 and we all survive Turn 1. I had to take evasive action and earned an off track penalty on the final set of corners where 2 drivers were fighting. I didn't have a choice and had to run wide. Lap 2 sees me make a move on the inside of turn 1 for p7 which earned me a bump on the side of the driver I passed. Guess they didn't like that too much. Then I get punted going into turn 3 as I was braking early to compensate for the slipstream and the driver behind me was on my bumper. Surprisingly, I don't loose that much ground drop to P10 even with the penalty. I go back to P8 when 2 drivers take themselves out. I cruise there until another driver spins and find myself in P7. Lap 8 I pull off a great cutback pass for P6. Another driver spins in the final laps and I finish P5. Aside from the incidental contact, a nice clean race.

I have to say that I'm enjoying race B a lot this week, but it's super frustrating that I can't just go out and buy the Alfa 155 2.5 1993.

It's a blast to drive and I'd love to put my own livery on it ..but I guess I'll have to check the legendary car shop every day until they decide to list it again.

What a ****** system...at least give us the option to earn these kinds of cars.

I think I bought one in the used car dealership. 🤔 🍻

No you didn't.

The Alfa will NOT be at the dealer for quite a while... but that's what the rental cars are for... of course your own is nicer... if you can design it the way you want... but the rental car is cheaper. No need to buy tyres.. no oil change and no washing the car... perfect.. is like leasing. Or a partnership WITHOUT a wedding ring.. the "duties" are eliminated and you can have uninhibited fun. AND what if Alfa and Co are toned down in the next few weeks... then those who only rent can be happy.

Regarding the driver rating.. Please everyone make it clear whether you are talking about DR or SR... it can be very misleading due to the translation. So the SR doesn't go down when other drivers are unsportsmanlike to you... but it goes down when you take revenge for it. Most of the time, that's how it was with me.. you take revenge quite hard because you're frustrated.. which results in higher deductions for the SR. Let the people do it... finish your race and wait patiently... But never leave a race because of such drivers.
1. If you leave the race, you ALWAYS lose more points than if you would finish it... 2. If you give up, you give points to the unfair drivers, so these drivers always stay in these lobbies.

Keep calm and wait... with every race you drive you will get better and score points.. pay attention to other drivers and you will get a feel for those who are unfair... Then you can start driving defensively.. they will try to hit you.. stay calm... YOU have.. best already activated the countersteering assistant before the race... now drive more defensively and be prepared... the nudges will come and you only try to Staying away...follows these "rams" and benefits from their nasty nudges against other drivers. At the end of the race, your SR is undamaged and with luck you were able to keep or even improve your starting position... The rammers in front of you may have crossed the finish line with more points, but their SR goes down and soon you won't see them anymore...

B is the only race I'm all that interested in this weekend and boy is it rough out there

Can we have penalties back please I'll happily take the constant complaining about them over them being gone.

Good to see the TT competitive, I'm broke after splashing out for the Toyota last weekend and haven'd had time / desire to grind it back so if I can get to the 350 tomorrow I'll take it out for a spin. I loved it in GTS until the meta got way too far it no longer stood a chance. Very stable drive.

100% agreed.

Another two races today. One quite clean, then another destruction derby again. Watching the replay I counted 18 seconds of penalties collected by drivers alone punting and t-boning me. And there were numerous others as well. And that was without the other contacts that no longer get penalized... Well, at least I still got crb...😅

Thought I would also try the TT today. Managed to improve my Q by 0.3 second. Happy days!

Tried it in a race straight away…..disaster. No race pace at all and it felt like I was driving in marshmallow. Managed to snatch 8th from my p2 start! :guilty:

Back to the GT-R for me.

If you don’t fancy grinding it just a simple click of a button. Hahaha 🤣

I did actually look to remind myself the cost, I had fancied picking up the 919 again, a car I loved on Sport and paid for with real cash, something I did not do regularly.

On GT Sport it cost me £2.49

For the credits to do the same on GT7, it's over £20

£2.50 is not too bad but over £20 is just crazy.

I found you can do the WTC700 at Le Mans in a underpowered Gr3 car, win 550,000 credits or 830,000 for CRB all for 30 mins works. Quite a nice race grinder I think. You get mixed weather too which helps with a bit of action

Some people are just ar5eholes during that race. Charging in way to fast, I assume on purpose as I'm B driver. Sometimes subtle nudges, enough to make you go off the track or lose momentum.

For the first time in my online career I lost it out of frustration and went to repay tge favour on a driver who took me out.

Problem is, I suspect many were previously relatively clean, but after being nudged around so much recently and costing them races/positions, probably just thought 'well if you can't beat em, join em'.

Not a route I'll be taking, but that's the problem lenient to non existent penalties have caused this week.

It's absurd pricing, indefensible really and the irony is they've probably lost a lot of those sales where someone would look at a £1.50 or £2.50 and say that's not too bad actually, why not. No one does that with £20+, but what do I know maybe they'll make more back with the obscene pricing. They wouldn't have done it if they didn't think so.

Absolutely my experience. I also have to hold myself back a lot not to retaliate.

Oh, and I learned a new trick today - to my disadvantage. Final lap, P6, and P5 has a 1 sec. penalty. Just staying right behind him would give me P5 in the end. But the clever b*****d lets me pass on purpose in the hairpin, just to punt me into the grass in the final chicane, and end the race 2.5 seconds in front of me to save his position. Bad behaviour, but, I had to smile about his cleverness anyway.
