Radicals at Laguna was such an unexpected treat I should have known we'd see nothing like it again for 6 months or moreThe same two clones from last week.

What's the car for Race A? Miserable track IMO, will only bother if it's something wacky.
i appreciate that response! i try to always assume they make choices based on participation data, but i had a hard time seeing the appeal of the 86/BRZ race after a few runs last week.Well i am also for more events and less of the same but last weeks cars in Race A where very drivable for Controller without assists and that counts because many newbies drive race a and they are relatively controlable in traffic and you cans still learn a lot.
They wont.how do you think they will rectirfy the situation
OKThey wont.
It has been this way since day one. What theyve done with the first patches shows clearly that PD doesnt consider this an issue.
That was the case on Sport. The Gr4 BOP was never fixed with FWD's always dominating unless serious tyre wear was introduced.I agree about the META thing. It's kinda annoying. Gr3 has been kinda diverse when you think about it. Was RCZ, then at Spa it was the WRX (big reason was its fuel saving), then RBRing was WRX again, then onto the Beetle. At least other cars were competitive at RBR and Brazil.
Every track is going to have a car that suits it; hopefully the METAs change as the tracks do. Doesn't seem to be the case for Gr4 as it's always either the Mazda or WRX.
The Gr3 WRX seems competitive on most tracks.....What are some of the gr3 cars that are 2nd or 3rd fastest, this week on kyoto, compared to the beetle? I just won't get any joy out of driving a beetle gr3 car.
Looking that way so far. Hopefully some people (way better than me) try some other cars rather than just using last week's META, which is probably standard operating procedure.Race C is just a 8 lap Beetle sprint cup this week? Tire wear x1, Fuel x1, do I see that right?
Only RH tires, or does it rain in this race? I guess not, no rain for that track :/
So it's a one make without any strategy, all same tires no stops
I got 12 wins last week with the corvette…D&C races but still, a lot of people can have the beetle and get beat. What are some of the gr3 cars that are 2nd or 3rd fastest, this week on kyoto, compared to the beetle? I just won't get any joy out of driving a beetle gr3 car.
It does thin out as you get to higher lobbies because there’s a lot less time that can be left on the track due to car choice without it seriously affecting your your ability to compete. The best drivers can drive anything and do well but those of us that struggle just to get top half aren’t really in a position to throw away a half a second to a second a lap on principle of not picking the meta car.I got 12 wins last week with the corvette…D&C races but still, a lot of people can have the beetle and get beat.
We must band together against the BEETLE BUMS and take them down!Race C is just a 8 lap Beetle sprint cup this week? Tire wear x1, Fuel x1, do I see that right?

I find this too in B but it depends how long it goes on. If it's shown that other cars can compete, then yes people choose what they like, like Interlagos where there was usually 4/5 beetles and then a good mix but if it goes on all week then it becomes the Atenza cup like Monza did. Also, one of the benefits of being in lower DR lobbies is that people are just driving whatever they want instead of the meta cars lol. I have not had a single grid with more than 5 of one car I think.

Agree with NikNak on this. One of my favorite thing to do in the Daily races was show up in a non META and compete/win. But, as I am getting bumped up, it's getting much much more difficult, unfortunately. You can't give up .250" on the straights for free and make it back up throughout the rest of the track as the drivers are just too good to give that back. Ask me how I know.It does thin out as you get to higher lobbies because there’s a lot less time that can be left on the track due to car choice without it seriously affecting your your ability to compete.
