Stay left coming up to the turn. When the orange marking on the right amco dissapear from your screen you brake. There's a white line on the left side of the track, that's your turn-in point.
When the nose of the car points to the orange marker in the far left anco you can accelerate fully again.
Thanks so much for that! never noticed that orange marking. Using it as a reference was a big help in me winning Nations in a Radical this Saturday!

I just watched the same driver get a penalty two Fuji races in a row and drop from top 5 to dead last, I don't get it man

Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again.

I don't think they know what the penalty is for, it's very poorly explained by PD.
Probably fuming over the unfair penalty system right now.
It is at least shown in pre-race lobby that there's a mandatory tire now, but yes I've always argued for clearer explanation of this in the game generally and a pop-up on screen when it's your last chance to pit to change.

But, as a mid-pack B ranked driver, I will take those extra spots all day thank you very much

I think my Gran Turismo career as officially peaked. Yesterday, on Daily B, I "raced" against the one and only, Super GT. I had his stream on in the background and noticed he jumped on his American account, Scott Chegg, and jumped into a race. I recognized a lot of the names on the lobby. Figured I'd fire up the PS5, jump into a daily, and see what happened.

Sure as ****, the very next race I went in, he was in there. Unfortunately for me, between races he jumped back into quali and knocked over a second off his time. I went back and looked at the video and had I been in the first race, I'd have started right behind him but rather this one he was on pole and I was down in lowly P11. Distance wise, the start of the race is as close as we'd ever get. I ended up having a pretty good race and through some passes and chaos, worked my way up to P6 by the end of it as Steve drove off into the sunset.

Was still cool to re-watch that part of the stream and see myself pop onto the leader board towards the end. This was his last race of the stream as it was quite late for him vs me. I'm such a dork.

You see that little blue spec of a Mustang in the background between the Beetle and Supra? That's yours truly.

I'm coming for you, Chegg!

It’s really cool. I’ve had a couple as well, but like you we were basically in two different races 😆.
I watched the start of his stream and with no practice for race b he got a 1.31.3 after a couple of laps where I spent an age to get my 31.9

Right! His race pace laps were faster than my quali lap.:lol:

But yea, pretty cool. As an American, this opportunity is very rare! First time all the stars had aligned for me. Rory, you're next!!!

first time I raced daily c I questioned the lobby at the end of the race as to why 90% of the field had a 1 min penalty, no where did it say the reason why on the classification. I was lucky my RC F car came with mediums as standard when I bought it otherwise I’d have fallen foul to the penalty to.

You’ll have to set up a UK account and it’s very easy to get into races with Rory now as he’s on all day. I remember the last time interlagos came up I binned it and made a mess of my rejoin and took Rory out. Completely reckless by me. Was so embarrassing. I went into his stream after and apologised and he wasn’t bothered and said these things happen don’t worry. What a gentleman. Can’t imagine what the reaction would have been were it a certain other streamer!

I’m hoping for a Gr1 at Spa. They just done the WEC 6 hour Spa race this weekend.

Anyone know if they do mix class races? Love to have a 4 class race like WEC. Guess this issue would be the number of racers in a lobby
Far as I can see there's no multi-class racing, unless that's introduced down the line we won't be seeing it. It was one of my big wishes for Gt7 as well as 32 car grids but they seem to struggle to even get 20, as GTS had, without issues at the moment.

Ah shame, would be good to have something like this.
Yeah with the connection issues think getting more than 20 will be difficult. Also just had a thought that the people using Gr1 cars if they are to lap Gr3/4 cars they will ended up pushing the slower cars off the track,

Oh for sure and on the flip side, plenty of GT players would be looking to block, disrupt and shove the P1's off as well as they try to pass so it's something that sounds great in theory but in reality the lapped cars would need to be ghosted and that takes a lot of the fun away from multi-class racing ie. how quick and efficient can you be getting through the slower traffic without it affecting your pace and position.

I'd enjoy seeing it tried though but it doesn't seem on the agenda.

Speaking of those pesky no-qualy racers…that’s something I used to do often in GT Sport but this week was the first time I tried it in GT7. I need to get used to racing in bumper cam, so I’m trying to stick with it since upgrading my rig, wheel and pedals. I’m still struggling to find my pace but slowly improving on that as well as my awareness since I’m driving without the ability to see my own car for the first time ever.

Here are the only two races I ran this week. Both were pretty good results but could have been a little less clumsy with my lines and side-by-side racing but I didn’t actually take anybody out so that’s good. I’m getting there!

First race was very conservative, just figuring out the grip and trying to keep it on track:

Second race I recorded in 4K so it’s a much nicer watch. Good race except for when the guy who started P2 binned it and decided he was going to push me wide into the T1 braking zone. Seems like he wanted to defend hard so I gave him a Titanic size gap at the apex but he still ran into me on exit. Seemed intentional. Funny enough, the guy managed to bin it again under pressure so I didn’t have to deal with him again. I just don’t understand why some people race this way. Fun race nonetheless. I was surprised to see people pitting for tires and giving up unnecessary positions.

(Edit: first time I uploaded the video below it never showed up in 4K so I tried again and now it works in full quality)

I switched from chase cam to bumper cam like 6 months ago. After getting used to it I feel like I can never go back, the rear view mirror is invaluable.

Also, you're fast af. You were on pole and I started behind you at Red Bull Ring (race C) a couple weeks ago, and you simply drove away from the field with ease.

oh you're Stan Halen! Thank you sir, and nice job on the win.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying bumper cam even though I'm a bit slower and not as consistent as chase cam yet. The level of immersion is way better though. I doubt I'll ever go back either. I tried switching back to chase cam for a few corners on a practice lap and even though I've only been using bumper cam for a total of about 6 hours, it felt pretty foreign to me already. Almost like my car was barely moving. The sensation of speed with bumper cam is a lot more pronounced. I just miss being able to see the apexes better, not to mention the actual boundaries of my car!

And thanks for the compliment. That week at RBR was my first proper attempt at a lot of things. First time getting familiarized with an FR car in GT7 physics (this was pre-update), first time using bumper cam and only the 2nd time using my new setup (all new everything even the TV). I did spend about an hour qualifying though, so I had a pretty good lap that put me on pole in most races. I think I must've crashed in 5 out of 10 races that week, lol. The new physics is quite a bit more forgiving, so I crashed a little less this week.

Nice meeting you, and hope to see you again on track.

Apart from countless Daily C races I did this week, I also drove 2-3 races in Interlagos, this was one of them:

It was late at night, so not a lot of other A+ drivers were around, but some good A drivers were there!
I barely had time to set a qualifying lap, but still was in P2.
I was quicker than P1 in the race, but he did very well to defend, so that's where I finished. But it was a very nice battle I have to say.

It is but I've tried it a few times, I don't know how you would get the needed pace out of the inside line coming onto the straight as it makes it much more of a turn whereas the car who attacked it from out wide is already straightened up and accelerating, have you managed to make this work without any contact?

A few times its worked......passed some drivers, closed gap with others.....its not the line i'd suggest to anyone, at the very least it makes the driver in front think twice about what line to take

How to troll a streamer who badmouths the drivers in your region, then shows up to race you. :D

Having been a 'victim' of Kie's 'driving' on his America account (His 'hate' channel has a video of him dive bombing me) this doesn't surprise me. Race A's can be fun, I don't expect ultra clean driving in them.

Really liked the SuperGT shoutout with race C. I avoided the Gr.2 races in sport but really enjoy a souped up Gr.3 car and all of them look cool too. Hope to get more of these, I guess it is safe to assume we will get autopolis, suzuka, etc. when super GT races at these tracks.

I don't know why I do this every week but I always start with race A, get 3 corners in then remember I don't like the slip'n'slide races & spend the rest of the race convincing myself not to quit! (The Radical week being the exception).

Race A - might be ok depending on the car
Race B - repeat of the manufactures cup so will be a WRX/Atenza race.
Race C - could be fun. Can see a lot of people rage quitting in this race.
