The thing is @sturk0167 , he ain't wrong!! You all gave him more than enough ammunition to prove his point, and the other guy just looked childish, imo.

I used to race with you often on GT Sport as you raced under Mcmurphy. When I would see you in Kie's races, I'd put forward you're a good, clean racer.

The dude has no self-awareness. Always the victim. He's never expressed any regret for the times he shoved me off the track.
I don't normally race people like that, but I was out to annoy and frustrate him, but not to wreck him.

Nobody looks good in that video. I'm sure there's more to it.

But even from his own edit, it comes across as How dare you Americans get in the way of my seal clubbing. What does he expect to happen? Every one to pull over and bow down in his greatness or something?

I don't think it's necessarily a nationality thing, I've seen a lot of fast players starting at the back recently and not having any patience with the slower players who are down there, treating them more as obstacles. Then the lobby connections are a bit jumpy so playing long distance makes it even worse.

I saw this one on Monday which annoyed me because there was no waiting or apology as far as I saw:

I remember one time I raced Tigney at Nurburgring. He started at the back. But the way he made his way through was like a professional driver against amateurs. Very clean and repectful. "No, you go ahead, I can catch up" attitude. When he passed me, I did pull over and bow down in a way. He's was doing the same excersise but in a toatally different way.

Oops. My sincere apologies to the poor chumps behind me for whom I caused a severe traffic jam. I didn’t realise until the last lap that the game had decided to put TC3 on. I held up someone for all 6 laps quite a bit and to be fair he didn’t barge me out the way as tempting as it may have been.

There’s a whole YouTube channel devoted to his dirty driving 😆.

I’m getting seriously fed up with this. I watched a couple of those races and saw Levitius get completely destroyed. There was about 4 of the world tour guys, one of whom I was watching his steam, all starting at the back. I was shocked at how dirty he was. Obviously they’re all insanely quick but they are all so entitled they have no qualms with running people off the track and complaining if people dare drive slower or don’t hit every mark like they do. And if anyone dare defend their position they insult them and say it’s stupid for such a low place to defend.

Had another go in Daily Race B, Interlagos.
Used my AMG GT3, started 9th on grid and finished 12th. 50 seconds behind leader..
No Penalties..😎
Didn't hit anyone..😎
Managed to miss braking point on first corner and just go off, waited for safe rejoin.
Was catching throughout race but pushed too hard on last lap and had 2 big offs, so not a clean race....
But still improving..😎

There will be a bit of the not racing enough affecting you. But I will be affecting you more through a lack of practice and developing that consistency more than anything. THE jump from DR C to B was mostly an improvement in being consistent in my case. Cutting down on mistakes, being able to take the same line lap after lap and learning some race craft to where having battles didn't affect me in a bad way, I could still race well and not lose speed and crash due to focusing on battles.

Once you develop more steady consistent driving from rave yo race you sort of give yourself time to spend finding little places where you can improve and make yourself faster. If you work qt it and study what faster drivers are doing then the consistency will bring results and speed. Both increasing DR.

As an example, I ran a race C earlier, started p2 and won. Didn't have even the 3rd fastest lap out of the field, but I didn't didn't any penalties and didn't wreck, all the actual 'faster' drivers did. I won by over 6 seconds just by having all but 1 lap within half a second.
Thaks a lot for that feedback.
The thing is I am a veteran in that regard and those Dr C races gives me a bit of trouble with the matchmaking more than anything else.
My qualifying lap time are in the middle back and since GTS the match making has been kind of rude to me in that regard. Never been able to start first and I can count my race starting Pole on both my hands over around 500+ races done.
My only pride is racing "fairly" with conceding position if I made a mistake in passing the car in front or causing trouble sometimes. I prefer losing one spot than gaining it at the expanse of the car in front of me and making myself an enemy.
I have uninsta GTS to get back the Hard drive space and never want back but I must have won 20 races over the 500 I have participated in soo...
I dislike driving meta and have long game session more over since I can only use a controller since I stopped with the one I had on PS3...
Budget gamer here....
Kusprime can give you a sense in my GTS career a bit more if you like.
Cheers to you anyway !
See ya in game 😉

I assume these idiots are using a 2nd account so they don’t harm there proper accounts DR/SR rating?

How did that German driver end up of the track? Did the Portuguese driver hit them off? As they doesn’t look to be much contact.

Im a casual racer and I’m always jumping between B/S & C/S lobbies. The lobbies I hate are when I’m in C lobbies and Im paired with B/B or C drivers. Most of the lower ranked safety rated drivers are just out to destroy your race.

Im getting to a point where I might join a racing league and race with others who want to race fairly and understand racing etiquette

It looked like a bit of contact on a sensitive area (right rear) which caused a overcorrection. It's hard to say exactly since the connections are struggling on GT7 and seem even worse when it's long distance (I guess they're playing from Brazil).

I‘m not dreaming this, racing in class B has definitely increased the amount of j*rks on wheels.I‘ve seen too many „idiot of the weeks“ candidates already.I wonder how people did made it till B/S with their driving „style“…and beetles everywhere,so boring.

I noticed the same things when I was still trying out sport mode in GT7. I usually don't qualify either but always remain patient since a pass with contact is not a real pass imo. But I had other non qualifiers starting in front and/or behind me. The ones behind me start ramming me when I hold back not to hit the cars in front, while the ones in front barge through and put the drivers in front of me into red mist mode.

So I qualified, but not till I'm blue in the face. I just set a time that matches my race pace. Which is a mistake since then I had those A+ heroes starting behind me and thus got 'moved' out of the way while I'm looking for a clean opportunity to make a pass on the car right in front of me.

Add a broken penalty system in the mix and I'm avoiding sport mode now. GT Sport finally got new races for the next month I guess but they're all duds again for me. Fuji N400 4 laps, DT Gardens Gr.3 5 laps and RBR GR.4 12 laps with 1 mandatory stop. Not tracks that are fun to race on without a penalty system.

I'll say that Kie was getting what he dished out in that video and he doesn't like it. He routinely runs people wide and push passes whenever he does his seal clubbing from-the-back streams and always blames the other driver. Refuses to use radar and gets mad when someone dares pass or attempt to pass him back.
Ben and Sturk are very fast guys who race you the way you race them. After having dealt with kie calling them and the Americas dirty for ages because of his "I'm special" mentality they decided to tease him. Kie has been calling Ben dirty ever since he saw him exact revenge on a notorious troll who had spent the day ruining people's races, he had no idea of the situation or why it was happening.
Having watched him routinely ram other drivers due to his lack of awareness (I will admit they haven't been malicious hits, but still incredibly stupid) he can learn to take it for a race. As @sturk0167 showed, he didn't wreck him, just tapped him and drove him crazy. No worse No worse he has done for ages. Besides, they gave him some easy content.

And for anyone looking to check drivers who do race from the back in the best way: clean, fast and very respectful I would recommend @Tidgney or wombleleader racing. He's a member here too but can't remember his ID. Both excellent at showing car control, patience, speed and how to set up moves and read the driver in front.

My experience has been good. But why do people keep going for the overtake on the last turn? It’s never going to work out well even if you do get the position.
Simply poor understanding of the track and racing in general, it's why they'll go side by side through CoD even though the odds of coming out the other side in one piece are minimal at best. Must-attack-at-all-times mentality that's fueled by energy drinks and Fortnite :scared:

The COD is another one definitely. Any hope for two cars coming out of that in one piece they’d have to be going at about 20mph. Somewhat of a false economy in racing terms 😆

This was more challenging than any daily race 🥶😎 Pre 1.13 update XJR-9 was twitchy for sure.. Also fast in the straights. Big drama on the last lap 👀

Anyways, seems like an okay week in dailies. Time to get some practice in 🏁 Gr3 at Interlagos though, yawn 🥱

I wish i had the same grip level (tires?) in quali like in the race. I drive some time trial laps, hop into a race and get all over the circuit and bump my opponents because i am not used to the lower grip level. Happened today in race B and C with the BMW Endurance GT3 and the GT2s.

Your tires are cold for the first lap or so. You have to account for that.

Did maybe 10 races of Daily B yesterday and was having a rough time of it. I think my days of getting at least a win a day are coming to an end. I think the best I got yesterday was a P3. Even though I am a B|S, I am getting thrown into lobbies with a bunch of A & A+ rated players. Not sure if that's the algorithm pushing me up or there just aren't enough B|S players online when I am.

Was actually in first going down to T4 when someone forgot where their brake pedal was and just obliterated me (and a few others) so that was cool. You'd think PD would be able to code something so that if one car is going 60mph in prep for a sharp turn and another car is going 140mph not prepping for the turn, one of the two cars would just ghost out. They know the speed delta of two cars about to hit so why they allow it to happen is beyond me. Rammers would stop ramming if ramming didn't work.

Decided to stick with the Mustang; I just never got along with the Beetle. Was able to better my quali time by about .100" down to 1:32.74X.

So, sorry, no cool pictures as I only save replays of wins. I think it's time to start reeling in my expectations.

How to troll a streamer who badmouths the drivers in your region, then shows up to race you. :D

Nice! Pearl made the thumbnail.

I gave him an extra large "Camry-dent".

Indeed, it was intentional. But it was all by design.
Sturk and I set him up.

(pre-race chat)
"Vig, do it!"

For the moment I am going to refrain from publicly bashing a narcissist.
But please reply with any thoughts you may have for me... good or bad.
