Does anyone know where a wired headset aux jack is on the PSVR2? I assume if you're using the DualSense you can just use the port on there, but otherwise where would it be? Trying to get a sense of where the cord would dangle while I play and whether I should invest in a wireless set (moreso a concern for games that will use the VR motion controllers).

It's on the back of the headset. The included earbuds are purposefully very short in lenght so that they don't dangle, but other headphones will.

Yes it's on sale too in the PS store for $20. I just bought it. The sale ends in a couple days if you're thinking of picking this up.
Just got it. I played the demo back before it came out and enjoyed it. I also look forward to whatever VR content they include in the RE4 remake. It's one of my favourite games of all time.

Is it true the review embargo ends tomorrow? I thought it was Thursday. I want to hear more about GT7.

From what another user said on this topic, it should end today at 1PM GMT, which means that we will get a huge load of reviews to watch in only a few hours!!! 🤤

EDIT EDIT:

Beardo Benjo, who usually plays VR games on very high end PC, made a 38 minutes video of Switchback VR. I only watched a few minutes to avoid spoilers, but he seems really impressed both by the game and PSVR2😎

I'm really hoping we get some more gt7 reviews today. All the rest of the games are nice I guess but I'm here for the racing!
We should see much more of it in only 2 hours and a half! (((o(゚▽゚)o)))
It definately looks great but my psychic won't get through this game xD Unfortunately I have very low tolerance to horror things (movies, games etc) xD Playing it in VR would kill me from heart attack :D
Ahah! Definitively not a thing to try in VR then, as well as Switchback and its jump scares! 😁

Love horror games, but the first time you experience that kind of games in VR is really impressive, with those atrocities popping and screaming right in front of your face! 😂 Definitively more impressive than all you can experience on flat screen!

Just watched the teardown videos; amusing when 'sudden loan word' occurs... 😸
Looks very repairable and my main concern about 'is the USB cable replaceable' has been answered; looks to have a custom breakout end but provided Sony (or an OEM) will sell them relatively straightforward to replace....

You can use the TV's speakers, and presumably any other connected speakers as well.

I can confirm this because my first race was actually with the TV speakers. I got carried away talking to the Sony and PD staff as we were setting up the demo and I forgot to put the Pulse 3D headset on at first.

One thing I don't know is what happened to the sound on the TV when the headphones were activated. I'm assuming the sounds still played through the TV, but I can't confirm that.

I did not use the headset with the PSVR 2's provided headphones.
My personal guess would be that it behaves the same as when you have headphones connected to the Dualsense - if you've set them to provide the game sound over there, the TV audio goes mute. So it wouldn't surprise me that the same is true when you have them connected to the VR2

Sorry, I'll try not to flood this thread too much, but yeah, I'm hyped like never!... I don't think I've been excited that much since something like 34 years ago, when my parents hid the NES on the top of a closet before Christmas. My brother and I would stare at the damn box for hours everytime they were away from home 😂 I'm THAT excited!

Don't worry... I'm hyped aswell. Regulary refreshing sites just begging just scrapes of new info :D

You can use simhub/telemetry with GT 7. Feels so much better of course.
But you would have to add a PC to your setup. With windows. For me that's down the ******* for the whole nice and stable plug n play experience. YMMV

Depending on the view used in non VR we get either in car or external sounds. For those that use roof or chase cam currently I wonder if they will have to get used to a different sound when driving in VR or if PD will add a positional sound selector like we had in older versions of the game.
I may be mistaken but I don’t think that option exists anymore in GT7.
I guess this could be part of the update.
