Happened to me as-well it wont save. :)


Regarding Spawn System of AI Vehicles. Its so much better then Single Player. Futo's Spawn more Often, Asea, Premier,Surge, etc.
Also if you steal a car and pass the police you will get Automatic 2 Stars.

I spoke too soon. Had to eat. Unable to join yet again for over an hour now

Rule #1- don't try and change lobbies of you're already in 1 that has players. This includes friends lobbies.

Rule #2- don't do Simeon missions. It puts you in your own world after your done.

Rule #3- Rob all the stores but don't take your eyes of the clerk. At All. Expect 1.7k per robbery.

I think in single player its just that certain cars will spawn different traffics patterns

Actually, he does pull out a gun...a SHOTGUN!
Had it happen to me in SP as Franklin. I robbed the 24/7 near Grove Street. The clerk was putting cash in, and I heard gunshots outside. I turned the camera towards the outside to see Ballas and cops having a shootout. No sooner I turn, I die. The camera points at the clerk, who was holding a shotgun. :scared:

The clerks are a bit stereotypical and assume that Franklin will rob him. :nervous:

The first convenience store I robbed, I was Trevor in the desert with a minigun. Yeah, the clerk didn't resist.
 
Wow game gave me an error message and it wouldnt let me exit out of it. However i haven't gotten an error saying the cloud server is down.
 
I'm loving online, been on since around 4pm. From what I've noticed, when you use the "Switch" to access online, it doesn't always work properly so I find it's better to get on through the online menu in settings. I've went on/off line about 4 times since 4 (off now) without drop outs or hiccups. I think when you finish all the beginning tutorials - which is A LOT - everything goes much smoother. I did all the tuts in Solo mode.

Another tip is, not all missions work and are offline. If you're entering a mission or anything else that requires other players, it could take a while before it loads. After the first race, the second thing I did was hit up the shooting range, it took 2 tries to load and a third to find someone. All in all maybe 10 minutes to start the target practice with a random person. **It might look frozen but it's not, have patients!

Edit: The cloud server icon still shows that it's saving, what's up with that? I thought they were down?
 
Been trying for an hour now to get in. It always loads forever and it doesn't matter if I'm doing solo or regular
 
I think it's if you break traffic laws besides speeding and go by a cop, they'll chase you.

Also, cars have softer bodies in GTAO, so running from the cops and rolling over/smashing into things is going to slow you down a lot faster.
 
If you pass a cop in a stolen car, you automatically get a 2* wanted level. Running over people can get you a level too
 
So I started today, and In the race tutorial, Lamar was saying something along the lines of " Don't crash now, fool!" Before slamming head on into an oncoming car.
Almost lost laughing.
 
Hmm, created my character and it got to the launching session screen for the first race and its been there for a few minutes now. :indiff:
 
Yeah, a lot of people have that problem. It false started for me a couple of times, showing me an empty menu and the launching session box, but nothing. Sucks, I gotta try it out tomorrow, because Friday will be a mess.
 
I have a closed GTP crew server up and running (I think) if anyone wants to join... The wierd bit is that I'm missing the sound of the conversation...

Edit: Seems like Online works with crews. I've invited and (just) gotten invited with no problems. 👍

If you're having trouble doing the first race, go go to the 'Online' tab and select a solo session. That'll start the race fine with just you racing Lamar.
