In other more bad news, it seems that the money being wiped on PC has taken a whole new level of holy *BLEEP*, when a dude and his 3 buddies did Criminal Mastermind, and got their hard earned funds readjusted. All 4 of them, not just one. It's on the top of GTA Online's Reddit right now.

It looks like I'm not going to be doing Criminal Mastermind anytime soon if this seems to be the case.

Not really shocking news when players gets money removed from any activity like Import/Export or just basic missions...

Rockstar are really making a mess out of this.

Yeah, R* pretty much just shot themselves in the foot. It wouldn't surprise me if it was some half-assed automated system doing this.

I started out today thinking I was going to grind a lot.

Then my brother suggested we'd grind in the same session, given the advantages that has.

Then, thoughts fell on the Criminal Mischief thing.

And, well.. we totally haven't spent the rest of the day doing police brutality to unfortunate citizens in flashy cars. Probably the fairest match since the Stanier.. it's not that fast. When the AI finally starts shifting, you really need to stay on it to keep up.

@Custom878 when was that game of Busted going to happen? I've got one more person we can add to the list, and yes, while he's not in the GTPL crew, he knows of the rules and all.

That second shot instantly gave me a flashback to getting pulled over and subsequently speeding off in MCLA. Good times.

Is it time for the sixth star to come back and bring in AI fighter jets to level the playing field?

FYI, there are weapon pick ups in the rafters. I found Heavy Sniper, and Homing Launcher on either end.

I've only had an opportunity to mess around with the Tula in creator mode, but I have to say it is a stupidly fun aircraft. I would've been happy with just a Grumman Goose that had two engines and conventional takeoff/landing capabilities, but the VTOL mode is even better. Initially, I could not suspend my disbelief until I remembered the LTV XC-142 prototypes but now I can enjoy it even more.

Plus, just like the Dune FAV, and APC, you can switch seats to the turret. Haven't tried while in flight though :dopey:

I feel like the Rogue has become the annoying griefer vehicle of the update. It's not massively overpowered as far as killing potential, but the combination of armor, countermeasures, sheer agility, and it's small size makes it a PITA to deal with if someone is following you in one.

The Rogue really excels mainly because that it has the agility of a dogfighting jet, and the fact that it can do bombing runs and have explosive machineguns.

Granted it's not as powerful as the Hydra and LAZER's death beam, but still as destructive. And requiring at least 2 million to get one in good shape, it's a discount Hydra without VTOL. And totally my vote if I had to choose what plane wins this DLC on launch.

So I just grinded a couple of hours and sold a couple cars to be able to afford the cheapest hangar.

It's kind of a slap in the face. In order for me to break even, I have to do 10 runs per day, for the next 10 days.

Really disappointed with the measly pay of $10k per run but whatever... now I have something to do I guess.

I like the difficulty of the missions. Doing bombing runs on moving targets etc requires some thought and skill. All of the "drive here and kill 20 guys from inside a kuruma then drive back" missions are getting boring. Upping the skill level is good.

It would be more fun if I could divebomb and the unchangeable bomb drop button wasn't right control.

I like the missions. It's a nice change of pace. I just don't like the payout. If I'm gonna spend 15 minutes dogfighting endless waves of AI on my way back to the hangar to finish the mission I should be payed more than $10k

EDIT

Quick question, do you get to upgrade your hangar later, or are you stuck with whatever you bought?

I didn't get the modification station because I just wanted to get in and play. Did I screw myself over?

The Retinue falls into 7th place in Sports Classics, which, in most other classes, wouldn't be too bad.

But this is Sports Classics we're talking about.

Also I totally haven't sold myself on the idea of creating a proper rally event and is setting up a selection of proper-looking rally stages.

If you guys want a hassle-free way to get police cars, I remember Pyrerealm gaming using the MC and have the President start Wheelie Rider, which will remove police activity for all members for 5 minutes.

Don't worry. I found a spot that won't attract police attention.

Edit: At least not too much attention. Should have more than enough time to call Lester before they show up.

Did they really give us the ability to drop bombs from aircraft but not even create a bomb sight/guide? Oh lordy...

Yea a bit of a let down, but you get used to it, plus practice makes perfect.

Kinda like playing War Thunder, after a while you know what you can do at certain heights and speeds.

I personally don't like how twitchy the Hunter is. It takes a lot of practice to get used to it so you don't miss your barrage of rockets or bombs. The thinner fuselage doesn't really help the situation; any tiny roll as a result of your character fighting tbe controls to keep the damn thing steady will throw your aim off.

Took me nearly 10 minutes to destroy all the jammers in one of the smuggling runs.
