If the images aren't showing I will sort it out in a bit, do you use the insert image function or just put the URL?
On Social Club, right click on the image you want and select "Copy Image URL". Click on Insert Photo and paste the link there.

Weird, that's exactly what I did  Oh wait does it make a difference if you go through the share function on Social Club

Does anyone know if and how you can post photos from the social club onto the forum??
I done it once before but can't seem to figure out how I did it...

Read the last few posts.

Seems like everyone had fun, including the guy in the chopper which would not have been allowed if I was around. ;) And you guys went up the narrow switchbacks? Were supposed to go down them. :P

That was Dan in the chopper, getting aerial shots and scouting ahead for photo ops. 👍

We saw a good photo op at the bottom so we went down, got the photo, drove back up and then realised we were supposed to go down in the first place :P. We just went around the road beyond it instead of going back. :)

We kind of like the idea of having a Cargobob follow us around though, for scout and photo shots but also so it can lift us out if we get stuck anywhere.

I usually pick trails that are fit for the vehicles we are driving. If you get stuck, it's your own fault.

By the way, great work on the website, I managed to get up and down Mount Gordo fine in my BeeJay, I will try some more difficult rated trails. I think it might just be able to do them all. Full tuned it is actually pretty good.

Had a good time today. Wished the ride was a little longer though Would love to do it again sometime. Ill post a few pics when i get a chance.

I know RT will be busy next week, but I say we pick a trail and have another meet anyways. It's gonna be difficult to fill the room like that once GT6 comes out, might be our last chance. I wouldn't mind getting a roomful of MW Mesa's together, or just an open meet would be cool too.

It was designed to be fairly long with photo stops, not sure how well you guys stuck to the trail on the map. Although the photos I saw of you guys playing in the swap area definitely wasn't planned.

I really wish I could join, but if you guys come up with something I will set up the site. Not going to complain about getting a much needed transmission for my real car and some time on the beach though. :)

We need to make it much longer, with the amount of trails in the area I was thinking we could do a massive Coast to Coast (start on the beach, reach the top of Chilliad, go down the other side, follow trails as much as we can to get to the northern entrance to the Gordo trail, and then do the Gordo trail, finishing at the lighthouse.) No vehicle restrictions accept no dune buggys. I know it's crazy but like you said it might be our last proper meet :(

I'd be happy to sketch out a route if noone else wants to :)

No vehicle limitations as in any 4WD truck or SUV is ok. Absolutely no cars. And this is the first meet we have done with a car limitation. I figured it would be ok, as a separate "club meet" for a specific car within the LS4x4 Crew...

Again, that trail meet was designed to be much longer. Did you guys like cruise through it with no stops or what? :P

We didn't crawl on the trail, but we did stop for several photos, and we had to pull over once because of AI ATV riders.

Also, I found out what the Kalahari is based off of! The Citroen Mehari.

We stopped around 3-4 times I think.

I just ran a first go at my suggested run, I did it in a modded non MW Mesa and it did it okay. We will definitley need a guy in a chopper again if we decide to do that run, the photos we could get on the downhill stretch of Chilliad would be astonishing!

Yesterday's route was cool, I think we drove a little fast through the wide sections, that's why it went by so quick. A coast to coast trek sounds cool to me, though. I only left early yesterday due to my electricity flickering causing my connection to drop.

Had a great time. Sorry for being a few minutes late. I was at Thanksgiving dinner and ducked out in the middle to make the meet. :)

Looking forward to what next week brings.

Missed the meet again, luckily I will have this Sunday off, hopefully we can have another meet up. An MW meetup would be awesome, or even a Kalahari meetup would be quite funny.

I too will be playing this game for a while, and I'll do anything to keep this club active after gt6 comes out.

'Kalahari meetup would be quite funny'

A Kalahari safari! :embarrassed: On a different note would someone help me get a MW Mesa please? I would forever be in your debt. :D

I've noticed several suggestions for both Kalahari and MW Mesa trail rides. How about next weekends meet open to Kalahari, Standard Mesa and MW Mesa? That gives a little more 'eye candy' to the meet and those three mixed together seem very photogenic. It will give the appearance of an IRL "Jeep Jamboree".
