So, I'm assuming alot of us (myself included) have played through alot of GT6 and want to get back to GTAV. With that said...who's up for round 2 of a racing tournament on the Redwood Lights Track this Sunday?
Dirtbikes, rebels and , sultan rally cars ??? What ever im down

I think the Rebel and the BF Injection might be more evenly matched.

This time, we're shaking it up a bit.

Everyone, go get yourself a Sanchez for Sunday, both livery and standard versions found on SSAM website. Also, get yourself a motorcross helmet for added effect.

I might be going crazy but I feel my rebel drives diff now. Less power and just drags....anyone else getting this?
I've noticed it as well. Spots where it usually climbs without an issue are a bit more difficult, I find myself holding the brake more and more now in the Rebel.

Even on freeways, small dirt spots (freeway by the prison, etc.), hills and trails I feel the difference.

Either way depending on the time for Sunday I got a sanchez 2 I bought, u can't mod them so if we all used that it'll be coming down to driver skill :)

Well I kind of misunderstood the previous post of R1600Turbo. What I meant is I'm trying to create the trails of the map published here as race jobs in GTA.
I started by creating the X10 red trail near Paleto forest up to mount Chiliad. It's published and playable if anybody wants to give it a try. I had to change it a bit: content creator requirements. The race starts at the sawmill and ends at the top of Chiliad.
(I think to do it it's required to search for my created content in the social club website and bookmark the job, so you can launch it in GTA online menu).
I'm thinking about creating all of them, at least for my own use: once I created the trails as races, I can fastly run on them inside the game. And make money out of it, too.
Well, I just played it: it's quite hard and tricky, can be done mostly only with a Sanchez or quad bike. I think "racing" (meaning seeing who finds the smarter way and gets there first) it must be very entertaining.

It really is! Nice discovery.. I tried with the handbrake test and all the four wheels spin.. I'd say it must be setted at 60% RWD. Still I think the SK is not going to become a great off-roader.. but indeed the AWD enhances her. Should be great in traffic/urban madness.

(I actually am a little pissed as I kept my Sandking in the garage since day 1 of GTA online, and decided to replace it with a Sultan RS just yesterday!!)

While unfortunately the Merryweather Mesa still is a 90% RWD. :-/ (while the military Mesa aka Crusader is a 40% RWD - I still don't get this)

BTW.. AWD cars in GTA rule!

We might do a Sandking meet later on, but this weekend is dirtbike racing on Redwood Lights.

The meet will be at 3PM EST (GMT -5), what we usually do.

Well, R* removed the clean rebel, but at least they gave us another new 4x4 to play with...

I've never actually been to any of the meets but I think there's a good chance that I can make this upcoming one, is it on Sunday?

Can somebody state in hours/minutes how long until the meet closer to date? Perhaps Saturday night. It saves me trying to work out time zones...

The problem with the Sandking XL is that it is still too big for most of our trails.

The Sandking XL is just too long for the tight, twisty, and narrow places, considering its essentialy the largest vehicle you can store in your garage. Going around the hairpin on the west side of chilliad when going down is very scary. The SWB is better for trail running than the XL.

Did lots of off roading last night in the SandKing SWB. Plain simple it's a beast!!! Fully built with Comp Suspension it will go anywhere!! Climbs dang near straight up walls.

sweet ill have to try some of the trails you guys have mapped out. chances are ive hit a lot of them already on my own. you sure dont need 4wd though unless its really steep or deep water or something..:P
this is after climbing the west trail of chiliad, didnt get stuck once.

So they nerfed the rebel and made the sandking the offroader to have? And if so, is it worth replacing my patriot with? And should I get a SWB or XL?
