So they nerfed the rebel and made the sandking the offroader to have? And if so, is it worth replacing my patriot with? And should I get a SWB or XL?

It's superior to anything I've used truck wise.

The SWB makes most sense to me. Less high center worries and easier to get down tight trails.

I thought the same and went with the SWB. Just finished a Chiliad up and down climb with Soloaded and a NFB/FastCar and I can say the Sandking definitely has an advantage over others. It grips like the Dubsta but with better ground clearance than the MW Mesa, and it does not feel top-heavy like the MW does. Even through the tight sections, the tires are so big and grippy the truck just bounces around or over any obstacle. May very well be my new favorite.

I would say yes, but I also kept my Patriot sitting next to the SandKing in my garage. My BF Injection was sacrificed for the parking spot.

I haven't yet, but I have a half day today so I will try it when I get home. Nice Z-Type, by the way. My favorite car in the whole game.

Yeah, I've tried it. It's a TERRIBLE off-road vehicle. Poor ground clearance, very long and actually not very durable at all.

BTW the SWB is so little shorter than the XL that I'm not sure it's got a real advantage, sacrificing the ability to seat 4 players.. (and it misses the bullbar) I'm unsure which one to choose.

In the wild you can find a factory Bullbar on the SWB.

Try these two locations if it using spawning on the roads in Sandy a Shores.

Yeah.. I usually find them in sandy shores too.. never noticed the SWB not having the bull bar, but I never looked for it before..

Either one can by found with and without the bull bar. You can also buy the bull bar, but when it's purchased it also adds a larger bumper that effects ground clearance. If you get the SK spawning, grab one and drive around the same area and just about 1 out of 5 of them will have the bull bar.

Also, I recommend the XL. Originally I grabbed an SWB, but after comparing them I don't believe the longer wheel base hurts it at all. In fact, a couple of times it helped retain traction with its longer 'reach'.
